The ONLY time I've seen Priority Login matter was back with the Legacy of Romulus launch. I got right into the servers, while other people were stuck in line.

The Lifetime Subscription should really come with a faction-specific race reroll. That way, you could change your primary toon to a Liberated Borg, Talaxian, or any other race available to your chosen faction without having to roll an alt to enjoy the LTS perks.

Cryptic has said that race/gender changes are basically impossible with the way the game is coded. They'd have to create you a new character & manually copy everything over, which has too many chances of something going wrong.

They should put like a meet the cast kind of things at the Captains Table. Have all the named character stand around and talk to people. Add in fun little things in their holodeck recreating iconic scenes from the shows/movies. Maybe even add in some developer commentaries or interviews.

I cheated and I've been a Lifetime member since April 2010. It made sense to me and it paid itself back to me then the monthly because of how long it was before Free To Play. I would still claim the Tier 5 ships just for the Admiralty missions.

Every time I start a new character I hit the Zen store to claim under Legacy Unlocks my Bonus Exp Points Pre Order Item. Started playing a long time ago. Hit 1000 days before F-2-P way a thing. Then i claim my Classified Access Codes for the Lifetime Sub.

Yeah, looking at this a few years on. the question of whether or not the LTS is still worth it will depend a lot on your playstyle. Most of the offerings and benefits are pure "Space Barbie". Outfits. Spaceship Skins etc. A lot of people play the game for that, and it offers a ton of cool unique items for them. The 6 or 7 (I forget) Free T5 and T^ ships are nice, but nothing amazing. About the only thing compelling about them is it's the only way to get Nog's ship the Chimera. They are decent leveling ships as the T6's will autoscale with you. But not spectacular at the end game if you are chasing DPS. The various slots are useful. If you are on PC the 500 Zen stipend per month is nice. Especially if you ignore it. Or do what I did and stop playing for a few years to come back to a real nice nest egg. Console Players don't get the stipend. If you do want the LTS DO NOT PAY FULL PRICE!!! It routines goes on sale for 50% off and rarely for 75% so instead of $300 us it drops to $150 or $99.

I never liked the idea of the Lifetime Subscription, but after seeing the Fallout 1st program Bethesda that cost $100 a year, the $200 one time purchase for Lifetime sounds a good deal.

I bought it when it was on sale for $150 and still think it was a waste of money. Best things about it is the 500 zen a month and all the character slots everything else I couldn't care less about

I olayed this game when it first came out and already have the 1000 day veteran rewards. The only thing I would want from lifetime membership is the dylithium refinement. Is there another way to get it besides paying $300?

This is a long shot but they recently took out the faction barriers for the ships, I am trying to get my FLEET Dineas Warbird Destroyer on my fed, but it says I don't have a tier 2 spire when I have tier 3 and says I need to be a vice admiral when I'm a level 65. I'm able to claim ALL other fleet ships cross all factions on my fed human. Has anybody else had this bug and whats a work around...I want my ships!!!!!

Question, if I acquire the extra refined Dil using the fleet Dil Mine mission (500 dil) and the Veteran Dil miner (1000 dil), will the automated daily dil refining (8000 dil) still work? Or does it not work if you log in with that toon?

There have been cues to get in. When at worst even life time subscribes had to wait. But only like one min from my experience. But that is back when there was a huge influx of new and old players due to some popular big event. But it has not Happened a lot and if you have been lifetime subscriber for a long time you might just have missed those rare cases. Would not surprise me of there back end is better now server wise to. Dynamic server allocation technology have improved a lot since STO was released.

I bought lifetime when it was like $99 pre-launch. I think. I remember it being cheaper than after launch. One minor thing just so you know, the Zen is game-specific. If you play another game you can't use the zen over there. I haven't played in ages, either game I'm lifetime on. (I also have a LTS to Champions Online). Is the OS Enterprise and Blue phasers not something that comes with LTS? I thought it was. Or maybe that was originally a pre-order bonus or something. I've never regretted LTS, I paid much less than my sub fees for having it when the game was not F2P.

The TOS Enterprise was from the Collectors Edition (which I bought) back then. I too have LTS for STO and CO, and don't regret either.

As soon as you pay for the Lifetime sub, you get the ships. The "x Days" stuff all unlocks immediately (though your character has to complete the tutorial & sometimes hit a certain level/join a faction before they become available).

i feel that spending for LTS for STO is long past unless its a real low price , back when the game started it was worth it , as the game gets older its less and less worth the asking price off sale , it really needs to be updated or dramatically lowered ,these assets are real old and less perks are useful for the LTS some are not there anymore. remember STO is pretty long in the tooth for a MMO , very few mmos get to be as old as WOW , or STO at this point , spend money in older MMOS wisely , IMO it isnt worth it at this point in the age of the game ,
