I always new they were going to jump the shark at some point, I just never expected them to clear it by this much. And as many, many, many people insisted on pointing out apparently Buffy did it better.

@@ELFLIFE-zw3hv Buffy did NOT do it first. Once More with Feeling aired Nov 2001 Xena had an episode entitled The Bitter Suite in Feb 1998 which had "original lyrics that fit the story" musical (Xena also had the episode Lyre Lyre, Hearts on Fire in Jan 2000 which did the singing covers of songs)

Yep Xena and Lexx did it first. Not Buffy. And SNW did a good job too. Musicals are generally not a genre I like, and I have few that I do, but I know quality.
