This would hav e been great in the original IF, in the next episode, yo discover Kirk was alive, unhurt, but, in a paraelle universe SND IF they were able to keep that secret until the next episode aired. Or, had it been the final episode and, when it was brought back, the first episode would be Kirk trying to get back to his universe, but that would have been an animated episode.

Well, maybe not the second half of the grand finale. Moore just wraps up the series by saying "...And so she said 'ghasp' 'I know what to do!', entered her magic numbers into the jump drive.... And they all lived happily ever after!" 😧🤢 EXCEPT FOR the series epilogue! It lasts less than five minutes,. but from what you have told me about yourself, I bet you find it to be your favorite scene out of the whole series. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The only lack of continuity in your selections is that in Day of the Dove, the hate-sucking flickering light thingy wouldn't have allowed either side to win, so the alternative ending would be that Kang does not drop the sword, but keeps fighting until one of them is killed and then comes back to life and they go on fighting forever.

@@Kunsoo1024 I agree. Here is the alternative end of Day of the Dove. Chekov unknowingly followed the energy alien through a corridor. He hid in an alcove when he heard a door open and close behind him. Energy-alien-driven Chekov attacked Klingon Captain Kang's wife Mara and killed the Klingon officer accompanying her as they passed. Chekov raped Mara ravishingly into an erotic fornication due to Klingon sex ritual culture. When Kirk arrived with Spock, they discovered the scene of the naked Mara with Chekov, but it was too late to stop Chekov. Kang's officer quoted Mara, a Klingon proverb, "Four thousand throats may be cut in one night by a running man." It was the brutal mentality of Klingons and its culture. Mighty and aggressive Klingon captives took over the USS Enterprise and mercilessly slaughtered all USS Enterprise crews, including Captain Kirk and Spock. Klingon-occupied USS Enterprise returned to the Klingon home world for their glorious victory.

No, Kirk tells Spock that he had NO INTENTION of dying, and was planning to beam over. Then Spock tells him that the transporter is not working, and Kirk says that it's a caculated risk. Then Scotty beams over to the Enterprise, and they almost lose him.

grosskopf2 Not necessarily as Shatter was in serious contract negotiations that may have let him go if there was ever a fourth season. That was the whole idea of "Tholian Web". What if Kirk left and Spock was formally promoted to actual Captain? Sorry to say reaction was fairly high for Spock as Captain -- though of course no season 4

@@johnnorwood2239 Hmmm. Interesting. The only problem I have is that if that had happened they would have to do some changes to Spocks character because as a Captain he would have limitations. His logic at that time would always get in the way. There are numerous examples: Galileo Seven, Immunity Syndrome heck in DDM he logically let a madman take command because of regulations. Also, the destruction of the DDM, his logic was to basically instead of figuring out a way to destroy it he would've gone and the DDM would have gone to the Rigel colony and thousands maybe millions would have died. But Starfleet would have been aware.

Thanks for all the work and effort you put into making this alternative ending. But, I'll stick with original ending, Kirk was my childhood hero and I couldn't have made into adulthood without him. Used to ask myself, "if Kirk was in the situation, what would he do?" Never went wrong with that!
