Star Trek TOS - We Can't Turn Back

This clip is dedicated to capt. Kirk, Mr. Spock, Doc McCoy and others of the crew, also to Mr. Shatner and Mr. Nimoy, and De Forest Kelley of course, the great actors who gave us this splendid performance.
In the clip I used some of the behind the scene footage.

I am such a late bloomer with discovering just how awesome the original series was. Still making my way through all the episodes and I am just in love with the show. Kirk, Spock and Bones, it just does not get any better! (I love you too, Uhura, Chekov, Scotty and Sulu, of course!)

This took me back to better times. The characters and the original cast are and were the best. Shatner was being flirted with by Nichelle. Wish we could turn back the clock.

Yeah, Bill Shatner was always goofin off, making other people laugh. It's sad though that the other actors out of jealousy knocked Bill years later and that's why you didn't see him taking pictures with them because of the rude comments they said about him in later years. Nichelle Nichols told him in his book he wrote that she despised him, along with the other actors and actresses who said some pretty nasty things about him, he was deeply hurt, and rightfully so, i can very much understand his feelings, though he won't admit it to anybody, he just stays away from everybody else. Can't blame him.

Heard he was an arrogant conceited selfish jerk who was catered to & spoiled by G. Roddenberry & execs. Was a prima Donna & line stealer & hog, Gene even told him & Leonard Nimoy that,....Bill,... is the star of the show. To which a flustered Nimoy got up & left the room. Bill & Leonard were probably both indulged & catered to really well, though Leonard still felt bad about Bill being the star. Jealousy, professional rivalry from the lesser actors, who knows?

A lot of this was from the camera of Bill Blackburn, who was in almost all of the episodes, either as a nonspeaking character or as DeForest Kelley's stand-in.

There are times I can for a moment have total recall of my past. I see it as clearly as these long gone moments in the lives of these people. I must say, my recalls are nothing as grand as this.. I envy William Shatner, he sure memories of so much that we will see as our history and culturally important through the years.

Magnifique vidéo. Ils s’amusent bien , j’aimerais être avec eux et regarder J’adore cette série même 55 ans plus tard. C’est dire comme elle était novatrice J’aime tout les acteurs, bien sûr je préfère Leonard, qui éclate de rire en jouant Spock. Mais c’est la première fois que je le vois fumer !!!! The secret star of Star Trek the Original Series was Billy Blackburn (Lieutenant Hadley, White Bunny in "Shore Leave"). He filmed around 90% of the behind the scenes shots with a little camcorder he braught.

It was a camera. I don't know, if it was a camcorder. But fact is: Billy Blackburn is kind of a hero, because he caught all this amazing behind the scenes material on camera to keep the memories. Bill Shatner was so funny back then and still is. ^^

Movie camera that used film. Video tape machines were the size of trucks in the 1960s and cost more than houses.
