Star Trek VI Opening Credits REQUEST

In 1991, Star Trek TNG was in it's 5th season alongside TOS crew's final big screen outing. You could go see Kirk, Spock, and McCoy on the big screen and watch Picard, Riker, and Troi on the small screen. What an exciting time to be a Star Trek fan. 1991 was also a sad time. It was the year Gene Roddenberry, beloved creator of the franchise passed away.

This was the first Star Trek movie I ever saw in theaters. I'll never forget seeing these credits roll on the big screen.

Absolutely and it doesn't have the usual klingon theme that we all know it was something different and unique. This movie has one of my favorite scores of Star Trek.

Either Majel Barrett, widow of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry got to see the private screening of this movie before its release, or she saw it in the theaters after it got released and must've felt sad when it said on the screen in the opening credits "For Gene Roddenberry."" Wonder why she didn't reprise the role of Christine Chapel, who was a nurse and then a medical doctor on the old Enterprise before being assigned to Starfleet Medical on Earth?

Star Trek 6 is the second greatest Star Trek movie (next to Wrath of Khan), and the 4th greatest 'Space Opera' film behind Star Wars-The Empire Strikes Back, Khan, and the original Star Wars! Period!

I heard Gene Roddenberry didn’t like the movie. But that was typical of him. He was always at odds with the directors about what the movies should be about. I think the issue was always that Gene was a little too naïve, because of his unwavering belief that Starfleet has no conflicts within its ranks.
