It’s more that the Mewmans are misguided through a history of war. The people of Mewni arent evil persay, but with the crap that at least the current queen of the Butterfly kingdom went through, its easy to see why she would deem all monsters evil, even if most of them arent. I actually like how Star thinks that same way at first, but then eventually changes her mindset as she has new experiences interacting with the monsters
