Awesome finish!!! Love the work you put in to this Hasbro Falcon!!! Looks great! The Hasbro is a nice platform to start with and with all the upgrades...both parts and electronics...building a accurate/great looking Falcon is possible! An you did just that! I really love what you did!

I've thoroughly enjoyed this series of videos; thanks for recording & uploading them. The talent is there for all to see, and I'd proudly display that _hunk of junk_ in a heartbeat... After I'd finished flying it around the room a couple of dozen times and taken out a couple of squadrons of TIEs. _PEW! PEW! WHOOSH. PEW!_ *ahem. 😜😎

Bravo, my dude. This is an absolutely fantastic result, Rusty! My biggest criticism is that you spent far too much time worrying about canonical accuracy. In my opinion, "rivet counting" has no place in the Star Wars universe. If it looks right, then it's right 😉

Can I request a future project? The Clone Wars era y-wing bomber that hasbro made is huge and screams to be repainted and detailed. I have always wanted to do one up the way it appears in the last season, last episode of Star Wars Clone Wars animated series. I would love to see how amazing it would look if you did one.

Turned out very nice! Contrary to popular belief, they didn't have an unlimited budget at ILM. I think they had to work within what the main office (LFL) gave them! I've seen very good results from reworking these toys. Yours must be third one I've seen. Still amazing to see what the paint and lighting does for them! I'm not that picky on the details -- no 2 shooting miniatures were EXACTLY, 100% alike anyway! The paint job and lighting is what makes the difference after the greeblies. You did a very nice job with the sides filling in 3-D detail. Unless you're completely anal (I'm at the point in life where "good enough" IS "good enough"!), you're not going to notice. Honestly, the side detail looks nice! This still has to be more economical than the Bandai Perfect Grade Millennium Falcon. Even the Rise of Skywalker Millennium Falcon (the 10-11 inch kit? Finally has the right radar dish!!!!) is costing around $70 now.
