right lol in the originals and the prequels the main character took some losses, including limbs but she wins every time.. the first movie when she won was what ruined the new trilogy for me. i could see it throughout the movie but especially that ending that they were pandering.. i tried to watch the 2nd film but i literally couldn't do it. i would fall asleep or lose interest so fast, and im only even remotely interested in this because its about a skywalker again or so the title says and because the emperor seems to be back. im hoping for some vader or anakin stuff but we shall see.. i honestly think the title is just to stir nostalgia and get more people to see the film though, a marketing ploy.

She definitely should have lost a limb by now... Kylo has been training his entire life. I don't care what latent Force powers Rey has, she should have lost 1v1 guaranteed before she met up with Luke. Maybe that's why I'm rooting for Hux out of everyone XD

@Areatrance Wookiepedia states this: The Eclipse-class dreadnought, also known as the Eclipse-class Super Star Destroyer, was a class of ... The Dark Empire Sourcebook states that Eclipse was 17.5 kilometers long. I'm guessing it's got connections with that spiky crystal planet place in the trailer or it just suddenly emerged from the ocean. We know from extended universe that Palpatine laid in wait in deep space and took over human forms to keep his dark essence alive. Maybe it's a sudden hard-on to crush the rebellion once and for all. Would have been cool if Luke made it this far to end the Emperor's life like in the Dark Empire comics:(

So they want us to think they're going to kill threepio by wiping his mind. this dumb for two reasons one all they got to do is back it up before they wipe him. And second because threepio and artoo are not supposed to die. they're the two characters that are supposed to be there from the beginning to the end. To top it all off, he says he wants one last look at all his friends, the only friends he has left are chewie and r2. all of his friends are dead. When did he make friends with these new people I sure haven't seen it. And how does one make friends with something that two-dimensional anyways?

I like the trailer. I think Disney misstepped with releasing so many Star Wars movies back to back. As much as I love Rouge One. I think they should have waited until after the skywalker saga. Then, done Rouge One and Solo. Let us focus on this trilogy first. And fall in love with these characters. Because we have no real connection to these new characters really. Even though I think Kylo Ren and Rey are really cool.
