Exactly, the difference between Han+Leia’s theme and theirs is because Han and Leia’s was more hopeful and loving. Where Anikan+Padme’s has a kind of romantic dread because you know the heartbreak that happens. Love both soundtracks they are amazing. John Williams is a literal god❤️

As much as Anakin hated sand and what have you, the actual rise/fall of Anakin, the birth of Vader, etc is an extremely compelling story. George Lucas has fantastic ideas, but I'd say that for his stories to have their full potential a second writer should be involved to help Lucas with dialogue express said ideas/story.

AOTC isn't a particularly great example of how to make Star Wars movies. Once you realise what the intended implication of the plot is, you start to see how it's a impossibly contrived, ridiculous mess of a plot... We're supposed to believe Palpatine is responsible for starting the Clone Wars, but everything that directly leads to it is beyond his control. It's not surprising when you learn the George didn't even start writing it until a few months before filming.

Palpatine influenced a number of systems into creating a confederacy that was planning to attack and leave the republic, while also creating an army that would be able to fight that force, but not demolish them. If Obi Wan never finds the kaminoans, then Palpatine steps forward with an army he has commissioned, or he has another pawn of his do it for him. The war didn't have to start on Geonosis, it just happened to.

What do you mean? No one has gone anywhere." But before I could answer, Padame grasped my hand and said, "Come, Luke and Leia will be waiting." I didn't try to stop her. She lead me through the place where we had stayed a long time ago, though this time there were children's paintings on the walls, and toys laying about. The sign of a happy and well cared for home. I walked into another balcony where 2 small children were playing on the floor. Once I came into the room, the boy ran to my side, and the girl went into her mother's arms. The boy excitedly said, "Father! Tell me another Jedi story!" I smiled and said, "Luke-- my son..." The girl cut in calling out, "No! Father, tell us about the wars and your padawan!" I smiled and said,"Leia-- my daughter..." Padame interjected saying, "Children, children, father can tell us everything. He won't be going anywhere!" She laughed joyfully and looked deep into my eyes. I caught her gaze, and instantly her joy turned to horror as the happy household melted away, with strangers carrying away our children far away. A new scene of a molten planet surrounded us. I watched as my love confronted an old version of myself. "Anakin, all I want is your love. Come away with me." She pleaded with tears streaking down her face. I watched on as Padame said, "I don't know you anymore... Anakin, you are breaking my heart..... You are going down a path I cannot follow... I love you." I watched devastated as the old Anakin ruthlessly began to choke the life out of Padame. When he finally let her go, she fell to the floor limp and broken. I then was suddenly with Padame as she breathed her last words. She shakily said, "I know... I know there is still good in him..." I fell to the floor hard and placed my hand on hers. Slowly it grew cold. "Oh Padame.... what have I done? What have I become?" I gasped and bolted upright. Taking slow shaky breaths I recalled my dream which would haunt me forever. "All I want is your love." The words flew like arrows, pricing through my armor. I shook my head and got out of bed. I stared at my saber which had killed thousands. What had I become? Looking into a mirror, I saw the helmet of anger, hate, destruction, death, and evil strapped securely onto my head. Softly I said to myself, "There is nothing I can do. She's gone. I must move on." I moved from the mirror and lit my saber, and went onto another rampage of death. "I love you......" Her words still surge through my mind.

Me and this girl I liked used to listen to this song all the time. She was never into Star Wars but watched the moves with him because she knew I loved them. She really wanted to watch attack of the clones with me because she knew it was the one about love. We used to listen to this on repeat for hours on end and we daydreamed about us on Naboo,together as we lived happily. She constantly told me how much she loved when we listened to this and I used to say it back. We always saw ourselves as Palme and a Anakin and hoped that we would live together. My head canon is that Padme didn't lose the will to live. When Anakin was lying on the lava banks of Mustafar, he was truly dying. In order to preserve Anakin's life, I believe that Palpatine siphoned Padmes life force as she was dying and used it to keep Anakin alive in a brutal twist of irony to fuel Vaders anger and rage. We knew this was possible from the Tragedy of Darth Plageuis. However, in doing so Palpatine didn't realize that Anakin wouldn't fully be Anakin anymore. This is why a piece of Anakin was always there, and he wasn't able to fully commit himself to the dark side. We saw it in his fight with Ahsoka in Rebels, his fight with Obi Wan in Kenobi, and finally in the end when he chose to save Luke on the Death Star II. There was still good in him. The piece of him that had come from Padme was always holding him back from fully becoming Darth Vader. Luke was able to exploit this to bring him back. So unknowingly in an act of desperation to save Anakin, Palpatine would ultimately doom himself almost 20 years later. Their love was able to transcend "Across the Stars".

The way I see it: In the rise of Skywalker, Anakin’s lightsaber slowly floating towards Rey’s hand and suddenly flying past her in Anakin’s hand with music from 0:50. Palpatine: Lord Vader….do not dare to disobey me again! Anakin: Vader was under your rule….Anakin Skywalker was not. He listened to only 3 people in his life….his mother….his Master Obi-Wan Kenobi…and his wife Padme. I will fulfill my role as the Chosen One….Once and for all!!! 1:39 Anakin ignites his lightsaber, takes Obi-Wan’s stance and kills Palpatine

You know what- I think what was missing from the sequels was Darth Vader. Ultimately he's the main character. He's the kid who was willed into life by the force, the one who both destroyed the galaxy and saved it. He was in every single movie except the sequels.
