Ahsoka has a similar training hologram of anakin in rebels her and Ezra watch and Ezra tells her he’s used them himself to train, pretty cool to think that anakin has played a very small part in ezras training too

One detail that isn't mentioned in the episode, that I only recently found out, yet love is the fact that one of Thrawn's favourite battle tactics was invented by Ahsoka during the Clone Wars. He only knew that is was Anakin's former apprentice. He was one of the few people who worked out Vader was Anakin. So, when he learns it's Ahsoka, he realises he's dealing with the apprentice of both Anakin and Vader and someone whose tactical skill he unknowingly admires. "It's a battle tactic invented by his former Padawan apprentice. A warship turns its hangar bay away from its attacker and launches its fighters unseen. They stay in the ship's visual shadow while they form up and accelerate to attack speed. Then they come around their ship from all sides, attacking the enemy from every direction at once." - Padme, explaining the maneuver to Thrawn.

I think the main characters will make it back to their galaxy but I reckon Baylan's story will end on a cliffhanger. It seems far too intriguing and mysterious for it to be wrapped up in one more episode. But unfortunately that means it probably won't be finished.

They could end his story as an animated short film, meaning 20 minutes or longer, but less than a feature film.

I would hope they recast him then. Would be ashamed to let that character go bc of the actors death. And if they do recast hopefully do a chemistry test with Shin actress. Their bond and duo relationship was my favorite and hope they aren’t done with them as anpair

The Rock Turtle Men. That could be the name for a rock band. I absolutely agree, Rob: By episode 3 of the Ahsoka series, I said, "Season 2 of TOTJ should feature, among others, vignettes depicting key parts of the life histories of Kelleran Beq (and his, most likely, twin Brother, Achk Med-Beq) and Baylan Skoll..." As I've said before, I really hope the upcoming (Spring 2024) novel, Star Wars: The Living Force, depicts a couple of chapters to the exploits of a 14-year-old Baylan, when he was completely devoted to The Jedi Order, The Light Side Of The Force, and The Republic. If he interacts with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn in the story, that will be great. I'm really hoping that, by the end of this series, Baylan's fate seems set in stone...cause, if it isn't, the awkwardness, moving forward, is going to be so palpable. Ray may be the best aspect of this quality series, and for him to have passed on, when his character is still playing a significant role in The SWU, is just tragic. He shouldn't be recast. If the character gets possessed by some malevolent force, at least, then, he could be portrayed by another actor as this other entity. Either way, whatever happens, this series Finale is going to be rather insane...it almost HAS TO have an hour length running time, since it's going to have to semi-wrap up the dramatic events presented over 7 chapters; even though, most likely, the story is going to be somewhat left open-ended; since this is one substantial piece of a large, growing pocket universe/time period within The SWU, and some of its storytelling has to continue through both Skeleton Crew and Season 4 of The Mandalorian. The new rumor going around is that the 4 kids from Skeleton Crew may end up being the ones to rescue Ahsoka, Sabine, and Ezra from Peridea...though, I'm totally wondering how that ship will manage to "accidentally" make a jump like that to another galaxy...a wormhole, maybe, or they get tethered to a star whale/Purrgil? Great reaction, Lads. May The Force Be With You. BTW: I love your 3 t-shirts...esp. the one you're wearing, Ross...the original trio, before Kennedy & Co. decided to erase it for still-insubstantial reasons.

Has Ezra been getting some training from certain Force Ghosts over the ten years, hence the "I don't need a lightsaber". Hasn't the Republic ships had some sort of Black Box/CCTV on board that would confirm everything Hera was saying at the council meeting? What are droid rights in this galaxy... considering some of them were at the heart of the rebellion i would think they must have some.

I expect Baylan will survive in the finale. The best thing they could do is recast moving forward. I'm sure Ray Stevenson would wanted it. Baylan Skoll is such a interesting character. I do hope we get more backstory of Baylan from his past; novel, comics etc. Would be cool if Season 2 of Tales of the Jedi features a young Baylan Skoll.

There will be one of two results. None of the heroes are going home or Ezra will make some sort of sacrifice to help the others leave. Shin might take his place, but who knows. They've all but hit us in the face with a brick over it. Ezra has said something about going home 3-4 times. It's obvious that it isn't happening. These shows are predictable if anything.
