I have been working night shifts pretty much my entire adult life. I have always loved Star Wars. Last month I wanted to hear an audio book about Death Troopers and found your channel that way, since then I have been bingeing your content since.

Just wanted to pop in and say what an excellent job you’re doing, I found this channel when looking for “Death Troopers” and I’ve just finished “Red Harvest”. If you decide to cover any more books from the Old Republic Era know that I happily look forward to it. Also I know you get a lot of recommendations but I figured I’d pitch mine, if you’re looking for something more “Steampunk” I’d recommend “The Chronicles of the Pneumatic Zeppelin”

I am really enjoying the Troopers' story! I like exploring the SW universe thru different characters. I like Han and company, but we already know all about them.

The Stormtroopers are basically the embodiment of 501st group. Bad guys doing good. Mara Jade could still show up in the Disney shows. Luke is still young in the Mandalorian. And Mara could have been one of his students that got killed and she's already dead, the reason we don't see her in the last jedi.

About one of the commenters at the start - why should've mara thought of bane regarding her crystal? Bane's wasn't purple, also it is doubtful that she would know about him at that point. Her puzzledness about vader's attitude,even with her having the right idea what makes him hostile to her, was as explicit as it can b, without being liteally, that she doesn't have a clue about the rule of two. It also doesn't seem like she knows about the sith. It would b obvious to her otherwise that vader has all the reason in the world to suspect her exactly the way he does. So far it doesn't even seem that she is trained at all with the focus on the dark side. Perhaps she isn't tought about the duality of the force at all. Would she have dark side focussed training like inquisitors or assassins like ventress, incliuding even knowing the difference like they all due to former jedi training, we should see her having the ambition to replace vader one day, instead she is as alien to that idea as it could possibly b n her frame of thought is purely guided by what should serve the empire best, not at all how the sith or her gain more power as the goal. The crystal she has, certainly is windu's. The color still is a good fit for a wielder without evil intent, trained in techniques of evil nature, but without true indoctrination into that evil's philosophy. She is seemingly quite the same type as windu, minus the strict obedience to dogma. She would let the right end justify the means n has a good moral code about the ends n can b tricked easily into do evil without remorse through that, while windu is exactly the opposite way around n gets to indicisive if a lil' flexibility is needed when the situation is like stuff that simply shouldn't cuz it's forbitten to in his dogmatism.

This book reminds me of Tarkin which is a mystery Tarkin is a Moriarty character who has to solve a mystery with Darth Vader and the Emperor in the earthy days of the Empire Tarkin is a short book.

Im loving your audiobook. My only very mild complaint is the pronunciation of some of the names. To give one example, phonetically, it's not General Re-ya-carn it's Riy (as in eye) can. One thing I absolutely love is that finally there's a Brummie accent in starwars, bloody fantastic.

There are a set of books that I think you'd do a stellar job on and at the same time really enjoy them yourself .they are the demon cycle by Peter V Brett, the first book in the marvellous series is called 'The Warded Man' ( also known as The Painted Man) The world is rich and vibrant with fully fleshed out characters and the action is second to none. Please I beg you have a look.
