i still think every country in the world should have a movie museum. where you could visit and look at all this stuff, with small background history on each item. so many things just gets thrown out or wither away in a warehouse somewhere. or even worse, kept away from everyone in the hands on private collectors. such a shame.... as well as original film recordings preserved and cared for as well as an old mummy would be cared for.

I didn't think Gamorreans were ever that wrinkled and porous. I wonder if some of the artifacts are deteriorated from aging?

Well they are replicating a concept, that’s likely an early guard sculpt before they decided to go with a final design and refine it those wrinkles and pores/folds are very intentional.

@@Jacksonmontyart I watched the video and understood the concept of what they were doing. Unless they asked George Lucas himself, then they could be wrong is the point I'm making. It's not something I'm interested in. It feels kinda like someone taking artistic liberty, when it doesn't match what I know. Even though I know it was the other way around, to make the movie. It doesn't matter if it based off something it might have been. It might be interesting to have the original, but not a replica of the original that nobody sees. At least in my collection.

@@northernsnow6982 it’s just allowing people to own concepts of character we know to love. They take the original model, scan it and sell a replica of the process work. It’s pretty much as close as you can get to having a genuine star wars concept piece. The point is to copy the work of the artists who came up with these characters. For a concept artist like myself most of my favorite work in star wars are the concepts rather than the final pieces. I totally get what they are doing. But I get why people wouldn’t be interested. There are no liberties taken, they are copying actual pre production sculpts for the films before the final character were approved.
