Great breakdown! Ties in with a discussion I was having the other day. "Face up damage cards don't actually destroy ships faster, you should focus on getting more damage through" I do not agree with that viewpoint, I have seen face up cards cripple ships and WOW is it cool when it comes together. I got "Dodonnaed" pretty hard one time my ISD had a bunch of face up cards and could not do much! I play Empire and Separatists so I have done my share of smashing CR-90s . That said I thought a fleet of CR-90s and Hammerheads swarming could be pretty cool thematically.

I got my SSD hammered by APT Dodonna and it ruined all my set up by drawing crits that disabled my tokens I was relying on to activate commands and to Piett as a second dial. I reconfigured afterwards to include a DCO because of how crippling the face up cards could be

It was fun flying a bit recklessly with these when I first got mine in the starter and trying to get behind the imps quickly. I love how mobile they are.

When you play the starter this thing normally gets behind that Victory when you play the first time.

You can have a fleet command on 1 in the campaign with a Commander upgrade. So the liberator is to balance off that.

My favorite thing to do is run a hunter pack of one fully kitted out mc30 with one support cr90 and if I have the points another more assault focused cr90, they can run in behind an ISD and take on any smaller ships that try to repel them

I love the CR-90 Corvette I sometimes run 4 of them and harass my opponent. I enjoy using them in my Dodonna Fleet as fast and can anoy people and if they ignore them they will pay for it but if they hunt them an kill the CR-90 Corvette's there ignoring the rest of the fleet.

My friend flies cr90s quite effectively and I find that unless I destroy them in one hit, I’ll likely never have a chance to finish them off for the rest of the game. What’s a good way to counter them? Or would you recommend ignoring them and going after other targets?

After all these years they still can’t fix these terrible red dice? Make it actually red. It’s a nightmare for colorblind people to try and stare at some minuscule diamond they felt they needed to make the blackest red possible. Do better.
