okay im fairly new to showdown, my buddy and i sometimes win but oftentimes if the opponent is somewhat good we get our butts beat, especially 1v1 sabers; can someone please explain how he blocks so consistently and gets damage? is it just the parrying where you block then strike with good timing? i feel either 1) my person just swings way late 2) i don't even get the chance since i just get hit through the block somehow if they keep spamming, even if im holding block

The combat system is just buggy and inconsistent tho there is a parrying system the game never tells you about I believe its cheating to use it because its like a secret thing witch leads me to believe its actually just a bug its not supposed to be in the game so I wont us it I dont consider it fair because most people dont know its a thing
