Fun fact: that duel mode wasn't remotely in the plan... we were already crunching 14 hour days / 6 days a week on a year schedule. All of the duels and other unlockables were done by myself and a small team (1 animator, 1 character designer, 1/2 environment artist) in our "spare time".

Love this didn't know about it! You guys should cover Star Wars Galactic Contention too. That mod is phenomenal fps basically a whole game but admittedly more hardcore and sim like as it's based off of Squad with 100 player online battles. Unfortunately it's offline right now though but should be back soon eventually

The multiplayer experience that Movie Battles 2 provides is unparalleled in Star Wars games. Its a similar free to play modification for Jedi Academy like Movie Duels, with multiple game modes, most notably a pvp duel mode, open mode - a CS2/Valorant type game mode, where you're able to play various gunner classes (or a saberist) and try to defeat the opposite team by completing the map objective or killing them, and a legends mode which is similar to open mode but much more chaotically crazy and fun! The Movie Battles 2 and Movie Duels developers are also friends and regularly help each other out so be sure to go and try out and support both modifications!
