I would highly recommend as Obi-Wan that you cut off their abiliies first. Most players immediately access them and they have no idea what do without them. A swing and Obi-Wan's rush is a good way to catch them off guard since they'll probably try to swing at you immediately afterwards or parry you which leaves them open.
