I think they got the timeline of armor wrong. The Sith used that armor during the timeline of Kotor 1 and Kotor 2 . There is about a 5 year difference between Kotor 1 and 2. However there is a difference between Kotor 1 and 2 armor and SWTOR armor because there is about 200 to 300 year difference between the ending of Kotor 2 and the start of SWTOR. The armor the Republic is wearing is 200-300 years more advanced. So Canonically this mod doesn't make sense. It's a neat idea. But if you want to be Canon to the timeline the Republic soldiers should have the original Republic military design of Kotor 1 and 2 or the Sith should have the design of the Sith Empire in SWTOR. I know I'm nitpicking. But if you're going to call this a Kotor mod for Battlefront 2 at least get your timeline correct. I get that the design of the Imperial Troops in SWTOR is crap and that those of the Republic is great but the armor of the Sith Soldiers in Kotor is great and the armor of the Republic Troopers is crap but that doesn't mean you get the opportunity to be historically inaccurate. You're Star Wars fans you should know this. I'm still going to watch and I'm still going to enjoy. But the in accuracy does make me upset. I'm a Star Wars history buff I don't know everything and would not claim too but I too spent most of my childhood revolved around Star Wars so I know what I need too. Anyways is was a great concept if any of the Devs read this know it's not out of a place of hate but of support. The Health of Star Wars isn't too great right now but we all remember when it's immune system was strong to create legends like Kotor and the original two Battlefronts. Although personally I prefer the First game.

I was about to comment the same but I suppose they just chose to go with the most iconic armors for each side from the Old Republic period. The Republic didn’t really have battle armor in the Kotor period and the Sith armor from the SWOR period was not as iconic to fans as that from the Kotor period. But still, I get what you are saying. Still might have been worth it to go with the full SWOR period since there were various armors for each side to choose from for the mod. They could have even made each class a different looking Republic and Sith armor from the SWOR game
