You can toggle award weapons now?! I didnt even realise, yknow for all its faults, this classic collection has added some genuinely good things that even the originals don't have, this weapon toggle being one of them, along with separate settings for hero assault, and the voice lines for ki-adi mundi, all things the original didnt have

If they fix the music and reduce the file size again, without breaking something else, this will finally feel like a good re-release and the best way to play the base game for those games, rather than a mix of upgrades and downgrades when compared to the originals.

They need to focus on the bigger issues such as map tearing and light hero AI’s being more advanced than dark hero AI. And add the option to have AI hero’s for instant action

I’m having the same issue. It’s apparently from changing vehicle controls…try creating a new profile with unaltered vehicle controls and you should be able to roll as droideka again. Hopefully they will fix it so that you don’t have to create a new profile tho…

Yeah I have that no music issue for battlefront 2 classic collection mainly in instant action and when I play the heroes and in the bf 2 main menu when I go back to it after a match but in bf 1 its fine

Me too. I'm pretty sure the no music when going back to the main menu after a match was in the original ps2 version if I remember correctly though. But no in-game music is dumb. Hope it gets fixed soon

Aside from what you mentioned, he's what I want: 4 player splitscreen for both games. Also, does anyone else still have the bug where ADSing for p2 messes with the screen of p1? The ability for AI heroes on yours and the enemy team is fantastic, but I wish there was a way to customize that more (i.e. heroes on only yours or the enemy team). One I think we should all push for: make the unit max for BF 2004 increases from 48 to 64 like BF2 2005. There's absolutely no reason that this can't happen. Edit 6/26/2024: All space maps from Galactic conquest for Instant action. This would now mean every planet should also have the option to choose an era. 1st person cockpit view option for all vehicles in BF2. Shouldn't be too hard. Most are the same vehicles from BF1 with a few exceptions. Add the console variants of maps that differ from the PC counterparts we have in the game right now.

They need to fix space battles, asteroids or small republic ship are not visible,poor visibility of objects or blips. 🥺 The small ship's cannons remain fully functional after being destroyed in space 😂😅😢

So glad I downloaded and kept the 2018 updated versions of Star Wars Battlefront & Battlefront II (the original Lucasarts/Pandemic Media ones not EA ones) on my Xbox One (which people can still buy in the Xbox store even now), instead of Aspyr's Star Wars Battlefront Classics Collection buggy mess. In regards to the SWBCC The multiplayer is dead nowadays. No one is really playing it online, except for bots. And single player in the SWBCC is a chore to get through (although quite a lot of issues, glitches and bugs have been fixed with several updates since launch, there are still quite a lot of them that still exist and even new ones appear with each new update unfortunately. SMH *facepalm*)....With the original ones (made backward compatible for all Xbox consoles and slightly graphical & sound enhanced in 2018) I've never had any issues with those original two compared to the newer SWBCC (plus they're both still smaller file size compared to the SWBCC, they include all the Xbox DLCs/add ons - all the levels for both games & all characters including Kit Fisto & Asajj Ventress, no glitches or issues with them - so no need for any updates, all cutscenes are there, all music is there, all legendary bonus reward items are there, all the control schemes are there - the inverted ones too, the graphics still hold up & have been enhanced in 2018 from its 2004 & 2005 originals, play control is great, the hit detection works and both are still cheaper than the SWBCC combined...it doesn't have any online multiplayer though - no major loss since hardly anyone is playing online anymore anyway BUT does have the full 4 player couch co-op split-screen). It's still fun and no headaches or frustrations to be had. My advice, if you can, just pick up the originals on Xbox or Steam (with Steam you can even have mods that can fix even more issues and glitches) at least all the issues, bugs and glitches are fixed with the SWBCC, then the SWBCC might actually be worth getting afterwards in my opinion. Just sayin'...

For me on Switch, I would have music playing for a match or two before it would cut out completely with me having to close and re-open the game. Also cutscenes in BF1 galactic conquest seem to suffering from no audio as well. I was finishing up a game on the Empire and it silenced on the Death Star and ending cutscenes.

Ai heros and Villians are in Instant Action for CTF and Conquest for BF2. Something I would like to see aspyer do besides all the patching, is mod support for all platforms and more unique maps added officially through updates. Also allowing to increase the unit count to 1000 for Instant action, XL mode, and Galactic Conquest.

I was wondering on the next patch here for the classic collection after the latest one. Cause I ran into some bugs that still remain while running into some new ones. Despite the damage being done since its launch day, I'm hoping it keeps getting fixed until it's really fixed to its full extent. Where do I send a feedback? This game still need a fix such as Victory and Defeat sound different. When you laod Galactic Conquest sometime the music is either gone or sound different. Same with the 501st Journal Campaign when you finished a mission or after the opening crawl the Galactic Conquest music is not there.

Classic collection has been great from day 1 of rekrmease, the idiots that hate on it don't understand that these games were never about online multi-player crao, but the offline game modes, I've put over 109 hours onckassic collection since day one

That's not entirely true. Even without the multiplayer, there were still significant issues plaguing offline content Don't defend something that costs far more than the originals, is ridiculously huge in file size using AI upscale textures, and it's broken. Don't defend it It's not good.

After platinuming the game on PS5, I decided to uninstall the game. All that buggy time with the game honestly tainted my nostalgia and I couldn’t be more dissatisfied with Aspyr. I won’t be returning to the game but it will be interesting to see how the next patch breaks the game further!

I changed the controlls in battlefront 2 to match the controls from the original game on the ps2 (I play on Ps5) and since then I can’t turn into ball form as Droideka. I have the same button layout in battlefront 1 but it’s still working there? I just wanna play as my favorite unit 🥲

The online is in a much better state than it was at launch. However, if your ping is high in Aspyr's dedicated servers, your game will crash when you try to use the AT TE or AT ATs. That's really the only major bug I can think of right now, and the PS5 version has that music bug people are mentioning here. Otherwise, it's still fun to play online, there just aren't very many people left. Maybe 10-12 people in a server at peak hours.
