Yep battlefront is basically just as good as battlefront 2 imo because of the unique maps and features it has over the 2nd

@@robbie5181 yup. And as much as I love playing as heroes in the 2nd game, it was pleasantly more challenging to win in the original. Would love a true remaster of the original battlefront with added sprint and improved AI.

The cancelled Battlefront III would've combined these two. Having aircraft available as ground support while also being playable in the space battle above the map. You can even park a starfighter that you acquired on the ground inside a Capital ship in space.

Battlefront elite squadron on PSP is what was meant to be BF3 its pretty neat

This is why i always preferred battlefront 1, the air to ground combat and shooting down starfighters as a rocket trooper or with the aa guns

Honestly if these maps were brought into BF2 with all the features of the new game it would be great. They just need to return first person cockpit views for vehicles. Honestly another improvement I would add would be to edit clone skins so that they matched the unit that was participating in that battle. i.e. no more 501st on Utapau, which would be replaced by the 212th. Kamino would be P1 troopers. general Clone commander would be and ARC trooper. Heavy trooper would be a differently colored ARC. Maybe I would alter the Clone marine to be like the ones in the 2000s micro series.

Same as geonosis against bots, if you take the Clone gunship you need 120 kills to win, otherwise you always lose unless you capture points fulltime. The bots always lose in the open battle against the droideka

What I think would really be kickass concept for a potential battlefront 3 would be to have space battles and ground battles happening simaltanously like youd have to win both to actually finish the battle

The dark truth with BFC star fighters being in battle was OP, and maps were too small. The only thing I wish they did with BF2C was have first-person view models for the vehicles, but oh well.
