Its so crazy to think about it: This game started out as an absolute Pay-to-Win Desaster but the Devs at DICE were able to pull that game back up to the top with good content added and a nice upgrading system, but then EA jumps in and says "nope, this game is killed". Rackie Now the heroes are free to play without the credit pay wall, the leveling system is so much better in that it gives you star cards and ranks as you level up that particular class (it gives you one ‘skill point’ every time you rank up a class/hero/vehicle which can buy a star card rank whether it be rank 1 or an upgrade), grinding is still gonna reward players for doing so however it is something anybody can do without the pointless credits -> crates -> maxed out cards bull crap. It levels out the playing field more so for people who may not be able to do every single daily challenge then gamble it all away hoping for a pay out. It allows a natural progression for everything. They also ironed out some bugs, improved lightsaber combat so it’s more true to the lore, and such

It’s not that EA never makes good games, rather, they almost always do a great job turning their community against them by asking for micro transactions to make yourself “better” in game. EA has been behind plenty of good games, it’s just they’re known for being a bit greedy. I’m not saying I like EA, but saying they make no good games isn’t an accurate statement.

@Flare right, but you’re talking about the release. Lots of games these days are released in a very buggy state. Look at Cyberpunk, the new Pokémon game, etc. just because a game is broken on launch doesn’t mean there isn’t room for improvement. Battlefront II 2017 is now a pretty well polished game, it may have taken some time to get there, but judging a game off of it’s release date isn’t fair either mate.

I know this game at first it was trash but now 2019 this game is fantastic, I recommend it Edit (because of the replies): 2020, and DICE is still giving more content to the game. Ok, I hate EA, and they lied and screwed it up at the launch of the game like they do in every game. But now I feel like DICE is making the redemption of Battlefront 2 with a lot of new heroes, maps and game modes. And of course I understand that many people are still mad because all the content that was given 2 years later to the game should have been given since the launch day, but we are talking about the worst videogame company, so this wasn't going to happen. But now that EA left the game, DICE is trying to make this game good. And it's working. Battlefront 2 is destinated to be an amazing online multiplayer Star Wars shooter experience, if you want a good Star Wars campaing, there are plenty lf good Star Wars games. And yes, there will always be lootboxes and microtransactions because it's EA, there is nothing to do about it. (Sorry for my english, it isn't my first language)

Rio 3 and Zootopia 2 same. I got it for Christmas in 2017, and by then it felt like a lot of the loot crate stuff was already fixed. Then a few months later they fixed progression and it was essentially perfect from there. All the clone wars updates are just icing on the cake.

I love this trailer. So many great ideas like showing the first order storm troopers, then the original ones and then the clone troopers, to signify the three different a eras. The transition at 0:49 was perfect. The reveal of Maul was mind blowing and got me so hyped. The music is phenomenal, the graphics are incredible. I could go on and on. Seriously like the best trailer I've ever seen. Nothing has got me that hyped before. This game is gonna be epic!
