totally agree with your end statement. I saw so many people complain about the super7 Thundercats wave. I don't have 200 for ebay lion-o and mum ra. I don't mind re-issues cause it allows me to save my money for the next round. Most times I try to help people on reddit forums to find figures they don't have yet. Hoping figures go up in value is not the reason to be collecting.

I was lucky enough to find Yoda in a Gamestop just the other day and I gotta say, having never owned the original (I only got into the Black Series line sometime after Solo came out), I love him. Have him standing with his cane, slightly hunched, next to archive Luke and somehow, this little green figure is one that still makes me smile just for having it in my collection.

I'm extremely happy with the archive collection. I really wanted an Anakin and a Yoda, thankfully I already had Darth maul so I only needed 2 figures from this wave and I'm so happy Hasbro is re-releasing the older figures again. I'm getting a lot of the older figures I missed out on the first time, Hasbro is very smart and they really are looking out for the fans and these archive waves prove that.

Great summary at the end here. I honestly wish Hasbro would do this approach of reissues with Marvel Legends too. I missed out on a few of these archive figures and I appreciate them being re-released AND with various improvements! There's no pressure to buy them all, or buy them AT ALL. Just buy 'em if you want them! Hasbro has made some great choices when it comes to the Archive collection. I hope they continue to do these, but I'm sure they're reaching the point where the selections aren't so special now.

Yoda’s head sits a little high. I’ve fixed that before by shaving a slice off the top of the ball and jamming a hot soldering iron into it before jamming the head back on. But I’m rough as guts when customising things

Every now and again there's a figure that makes me wanna be an on card collector. Might have to get an extra Maul. I've just accepted that Anakin and Yoda are just figures that need a redo. Yoda I'd accept single joint elbows if that's necessary for bicep rotation. Head still holds up though. Solid wave, I'm glad for it

Got to be honest. I have long been a careful opening box/package person. To see you rip open that blister pack with force makes me gasp and my heart skip a beat. That said... Darth Maul...he makes 2 more added to my previous 2. Scott Biker...yes he is "so dirty" Anakin Skywalker...looks great, with a near perfect face print Yoda...far superior to that first awful Black Series attempt. The snake thingie is still foolish. "You like what you see?" (wink wink) Another great review of 4 great figures that I ordered off Hasbro Pulse awhile back. And AMEN to your opinion that I agree with that these are TOYS to buy and enjoy. All those scalpers that are pissed that they fear their originals will drop in value, then they just dont get it. Thank you Hasbro for reissuing these figures for us "playtime" folks.

I got Anakin. Definitely like the figure, but I wish the neck joint wasn’t so obvious and visible. Also would prefer if the soft goods was a little more form-fitting like the SHF. But overall, pretty great figure. Great reviews Robo

Not sure if I've ever commented before, But I've watched a Lot of your figure reviews, This was good for me because I was thinking about getting a second Darth Maul (Just to display one with robed head, as well as the extra (angrier) head without the outer robes) Also I now see the improvements on Anakin so I'll probably get that at some point too, I already got the Biker Scout Trooper with (And without) The speeder (For same reasons you had, One on the Speeder, One standing with other soldiers) As for Yoda, the face is a Mega improvement and I'm glad I never got the old one, Thanks for all these great videos that help me make decisions about figures, Being able to see them out of packaging before buying online, Most eBay sellers use ''Hasbro promotional pics from Google image search'' and that makes me cautious !!! Hey Robo, Great Review. All of these Figures are Great Looking Figures and Improvements Over the Original Release figures. But Yoda is My Favorite Star Wars Character, and I am Loving this new Archive Release. Not only because of the Photo-Real Paint Apps, but even Though You couldn't get Him in the Pose they have somehow made Him Able to Hold His Cane with Both Hands Clasped over It like He did in TESB. Something the Original Release Yoda Couldn't do. I passed on the Original 6" Black Series Release all 3 Times the Walgreen's I shop at, got Him back in 2014. I wasn't Collecting Black Series figures at that time, but I was tempted since it was Yoda, but every one I saw looked Terrible in the Box. The Robes were literally falling apart and fraying, and the Paint Apps were Horrible! I Hated the White Paint Hasbro Slathered on for His Hair and Sideburns. There was No Way I could justify paying $20 for Him. Fast Forward to 2016 after I started collecting Black Series figures, and I traded some figures for Him at around $60-$80 in value, but I still wasn't happy with Him, which is why I tried doing a Black Wash on the Head, to try and do something about that Hair. I couldn't believe I did it to Him after giving that much for Him, but after I was done I Loved Him! The hair is still too thick, but He Looked Fantastic compared to the way He looked Originally. My Only Real Complaint after that was him not being able to Hold His Cane with Both Hands, which is why I got 3 Archive Yodas. One to Keep MOC, One to Open, and One I was planning to Give a Bicept Swivel, but Now I don't need to do the Bicept Bicept Swivel. I might make the 3rd one into a Prequel Yoda now. If you don't need articulation, I think the model kit is more accurate in size. But you have to build it and you also get a 1:6 scale articulated prequel Yoda.
