I finally got around to opening up my Aurra Sing figure, and despite the shortcomings pointed out in your review, and rightfully so, … I’m in love! 🤗🥰🥰🤗. She just looks so damn awesome on the shelf once she struck a pose, and now I can’t stop staring at her. Yea, not perfect, but definitely a Top 10 figure of 2021. 🥰🥰

Hasbro have killed it with Aurra,what a superb looking figure!! Love the detail and the head sculpt is fantastic.The articulation may not be the best but for me its more about the aesthetics and this figure has boat loads of it.Awesome review Justin😎

I love Aurra Sing, I just love bounty hunters in general. This figure does look really amazing, she'd go great with my other hunters. The figure itself is pretty spot on to the show. I agree the body could use some depth and better articulation, I think the guns definitely could use some dirt and grime or just some extra details. The sniper rifle looks just like a grey piece of plastic with a little brown on it. I guess I'm gonna have to learn how to "decorate" the figures. Lol. Great review . Once again knocks it out of the park.

I don’t think the holster is hindering the articulation as far as I can tell the legs are partial reuse of the Vice-Admiral Holdo (and the lower torso) which means they have the y/angled pins similar to yavin ceremony luke

Thorough review. I just picked Aurra up off of Amazon for sixteen dollars and some change. I don't have very many prequel or Clone Wars figures in my collection. In fact, Aurra will make my sixth. I'm going to pose opposite Padme.

So a couple things you may know by now. Firstly, her body os mostly reuse from Vice Admiral Holdo, which explains the lack of butterfly joint and double hinge knees, it also explains the hips. Her legs aren't hindered by the thigh holster, but rather by the weird angled leg joint they used for a while (Padme and Yavin Luke also use this style). I agree totally with the shoulder strap for her rifle. I think they must have figured a sculpted strap would look weird floating in the air when posing the figure. I also think the Clone Wars Aurra Sing (from the 3.5" Clone Wars line uses the same style strap. She's a really good figure with a couple small things that are just a little bit annoying.

Man, she looks great! Maybe she has outdated joints because they had her finished a while ago and delayed her release. I'm just happy the paint on the face looks good and the up and down hinge at the wrists. Great and honest review Justin!

Original trilogy Bounty hunters are classic but something about the prequel era bounty hunters that makes me like them more probably because you see them more in action and they go up against Jedis

She looks good. Ill keep my preorder of her. Wish she had better paint on the blasters but thats to be expected via the line so far. Articulation is very dated but like a handull of other figures in the line im over all ok with it as her shelf presence will be amazing. Dig the chains on her belt and the gold buckles. My guess as to why the articulation is a little "dated" is that this figure probably started the design process around the same time as red line 59-70. It shares similar articulation to figures like Solo movie Han.

I can’t help but wonder if they have been sitting on this figure for awhile. The outdated articulation and pinned knees make me wonder if this has been in the works for awhile and they finally released it. However, it looks great in hand and I’m happy I have it, and the holster belt floats up a bit to allow for better articulation though if you try that!

And honestly I was trying to think of what female body it could have been and couldn't think of anything from the Black Series. Perhaps some reuse from a Marvel Legend? Honestly I think Hasbro held on to this because they had the face printing around the corner at thar time. I noticed more troops that had no "face" just before the face printing. May just be a coincidence but it seems they are taking every chance to update old figures lately.

Late to the party. I managed to snag this today. Reduced here in the UK to a reasonable £13. I think she does have a dumb bell jointed neck. It's just not very well done. As regards the hips, it not really the holsters that hinder them. They gave her the terrible Y-Jointed hips. Parts re-use from Vice Admiral Holdo: torso, hips thighs and maybe upper legs. It does look good though.

Really wish Hasbro would stop using angled hip joints, especially with figures that have holsters. I hated using them back during the Toy Biz Marvel Legends days.

I'm just wondering if Hasbro are reusing some body parts/articulation from their Marvel legends line of female figures? Those pinned double jointed knees look very similar to the female figures that ML have, and I have to admit that I have more ML figs than Star Wars... Lol

@@OutOfTheBasement Aside from the arms, head and lower legs, it looks like she is actually complete reuse of the Admiral Holdo body under the soft goods dress. The limited leg articulation is actually due to the y joint in the hips.

Exposure adjustments! We've never seen such craft with a camera! I demand to know why n8 doesn't adjust his exposures! Excellent review again, but points dropped for not comparing the figure to a 1980's cabbage patch kid! (I've literally just made myself laugh!) Like the Spears woman, you gone dunnit again. Didn't want zero or this, but now want both! Trying to not get too excited about the reviews as we are so far behind in Blighty. My clone wave is 'awaiting dispatch' on pre-order months ago, while if I hadn't pre-ordered them, I could have bought the set days ago and they would be with me now from the same bloody company!! I haven’t picked this one up yet, and I’m still considering it. It’s interesting that they wouldn’t give her the articulation to get some deep sniping poses, but she definitely looks good. Hasbro just needs to listen to reviews and fine tune some details on the figure releases and their accessories and the community would be really pleased

I don’t watch reviews usually of figures I pre-ordered because I don’t want it to be ruined until I have them in hand. But I like to watch reviews as I’m opening them up. Definitely an aesthetically pleasing figure, I imagine she has a great shelf presence. That outdated articulation is kind of baffling though, especially the pins in the legs - I thought we were done with that? Maybe this figure was designed a while back, and they just didn’t release it until now?

Pass for me, not a character i need, not right now. The outdated articulation is odd, maybe they just designed that character a while ago and only now decided to produce her. They probably got more like this just waiting for a production line spot. Btw. is there ever going to be a review where you don't ask for a wash on some part? Just saying, it is starting to sound like a obligatory criticism by now. The weapon... man i would love to spend 5 bucks more per figure if the weapons were on the quality level of SHFiguarts weapons. Always so little paint, you look at them wrong and they come out of the packaging bend already. Just a tiny bit harder plastic on the long thing guns at least, a bit less squeezing into in the packaging and more effort on the paintjob and it would feel much higher quality without too much effort. If i had a 3D printer i would absolutely experiment with printing my own weapons, i suck at painting but i bet i can't do any worse than this. ...i would just want like a dedicated "production corner" and i got no freaking room lol maybe one day...

Yeah it could also be reuse from Marvel Legends, not sure! And I'm not sure how long you have been collecting Black Series but a figure having a wash was not uncommon at all earlier in the line. Take a look at figures like Greedo, Zuckuss, etc. Probably the main reason a wash is uncommon nowadays is because of digital printing, similar to the photo-real, when it comes to the paint apps. That extends to weathering, shading, wash, etc. Look at the weathering and paint detail on Captain Rex vs. Commander Wolffe. It's a valid criticism and yeah I'll keep asking for it because it is something that can be improved. Same thing with the blaster sniper rifle, a nice dry brush would make it look a thousand times better than a hunk of gray plastic. I think the Black Series is at it's best right now, but we could still use a few tweaks. Thanks for checking out the review, ZeroB4NG! -Justin

This is about as great as an Aurra Sing figure can get. Naturally, the articulation suffers a bit, but she’s very serviceable. Problem is, I don’t really need the character. So it’s a soft pass for me.
