Marvel has been producing some amazing canon Star Wars graphic novels of late. With writers like Gillen, Aaron, Soule with Salvador Larocca's artwork, making it such an iconic and great series to read.

What is that art style called? They clearly just used screen caps from the movie itself to do many of the faces for Luke, Han and Leia. Then just blended them in nicely with their regular art. It looks great, but I'm now sure how I feel about that.

Did Omar do a review of justice league dark rebirth Omni? I have it on pre order and I believe is coming out tomorrow. Anyhow, just wondering, I usually make my decision to proceed or cancel my preorders based on these videos. Great job as always Omar!

After Marvel stopped making OHCs of there original (2022) Star Wars series I totally stopped collecting the rest of the series, hoping one day they would just release an omnibus of the rest of it... I'm so glad to hear & see my Jedi-like patience has paid off & my wish is coming next week. 🙏😁

That DM cover is by David Marquez not Pepe Larraz I think. The DM cover they advertised on pre-orders is way better. I got mine today and am so annoyed with this inferior switcheroo!

I enjoyed this more than Jason Aaron's run. It has some great moments and I love how it ties it directly into episode 5. If you liked Gillen's Vader, you are going to love this.

A shame about the ugly Larroca tracework, even if he's gotten worse with his Kenobi adaptation, these earlier comics share the same stink. I feel bad for the writers wasting their time.

Yeah he traces all of it. He googles something and then he directly, quickly traces it, often stock images and photos he has no rights to, as well as movie stills and fan designs. He doesn't bother looking where an image is from and whst the rughts are, he just takes the first results on google and puts it on page. Google larroca tracing and you'll see direct examples, but every single face in his star wars comics is traced without exception.​@@josephpetersen1728
