He broke into the Jedi Temple and stole a holocron. He also held the senate hostage. He broke into 2 of the most secure buildings in the galaxy and GOT AWAY. That's like if someone broke into the Pentagon and stole some classified documents and managed to hold congress hostage to bust out El Chapo and SUCCEED. Ignoring his ability to kill Jedi, he's probably the best bounty hunter the galaxy has ever seen.

He's actually modeled more after Lee Van Cleef's. He's the morally bankrupt gunslinger, just like Angel Eyes, and even the way he rests his hand on his belt is the same as Angel Eyes in the climax of the movie.

Yeah as the person above me said, he’s Van Cleef rather than Eastwood. Lucas confirmed this himself, Cad is supposed to be Angel Eyes from the Good, the Bad and the Ugly in space. Boba was the one who was inspired by Clint Eastwood, hence his little half cape that somewhat resembles when Eastwood would wear his poncho to one side. Knowing this makes the fact that Boba killed Cad in a duel (remains to be seen but I think it’ll come eventually) even better tbh.

This is probably the best remaster of a soundtrack I’ve heard so far, the source material alone just brings you back to that scene, which was so powerful in its own, and then to add the western twist on it? Running a Star Wars ttrpg game for a few years. I learned to do the Bane voice cuz the players 'wanted a cool cameo, but nothing big like Luke or Han'. Later in the game, they stole a Hutt ship and who else was coming to collect but the man himself. He baited the team to one location and had his partner take the ship while they were away. As he flew off, the Captain (our newest player) was flying off the handle, figuring out how he'd get revenge. Everyone else just watched him go, somebody muttering 'God, he's good.' with a chuckle.
