What do you mean when you say it may have been "mapped"?

So it has been shown that if you know the layouts of the sheets that printed the cards then you could open a box pull a few rares, get the good ones and have a good idea of what was left in the box so sell off the rest. I believe there are videos from years ago showing how somebody can do it, I have never done any of that myself though.
