Yeah it’s basically whatever I retained since I last studied a decade ago. For the most part I remember hiragana better, I forget some Katakana characters now however.

PSA and BGS have always been weird with their grading... there's a reason plenty of videos exist with how to crack open their cases to resubmit. I've submitted a few MTG cards where I got a 6-7 and then re-submitted and got an 8+ lol. Course now it's getting quite expensive to submit so you need a pretty high valued card where 1-2 grades really matter. Point being, you get a 7 or 8 and think it's a 9 or 10? Crack that sucker and resend it... Whateves, I'm sure GenAI is going to take over card grading very soon... at which point you'll get more consistent results, but the inconsistency might be less desirable (meaning you wont often get a higher grade than you deserve).
