This f****** hobby is bad because I don't think these boxes worth $200 $300 either the baseball cards boxes I'm not worth that much money to my opinion these boxes no more than $25 you guys I've been taking like a rabbit you guys addicted to this stuff they take advantage of your people tell him you're not going to buy these boxes anymore do you lower the lower the prices

Recently bought the compilation book that has series 1- 5 . I am wondering if there are going to be other books featuring series 6-15 , All New Series and the rest.

I remember going down to the local ice cream business ( similar to Baskin-Robbins) and in the window was a box of series 1 of the Garbage Pail Kids 1985 . Went down there countless times after that I bought other packs but the problem was the each addition pack had the same cards as the other packs previously bought so you kind of feel cheated in away.

I just go to my local 7/11 and they sell japanese cards, but thats because i live in japan lmao. I feel like japanese booster packs have better pull rates than english packs.

I got into it very briefly like 20 years ago. Had a friend in high school lunch that played it so I bought some of the, to play during lunch to pass the time. I dob’t think I would ever get imto it now unless I somehow started watching the show which I never really watched as a kid.

Yeah it’s basically whatever I retained since I last studied a decade ago. For the most part I remember hiragana better, I forget some Katakana characters now however.

PSA and BGS have always been weird with their grading... there's a reason plenty of videos exist with how to crack open their cases to resubmit. I've submitted a few MTG cards where I got a 6-7 and then re-submitted and got an 8+ lol. Course now it's getting quite expensive to submit so you need a pretty high valued card where 1-2 grades really matter. Point being, you get a 7 or 8 and think it's a 9 or 10? Crack that sucker and resend it... Whateves, I'm sure GenAI is going to take over card grading very soon... at which point you'll get more consistent results, but the inconsistency might be less desirable (meaning you wont often get a higher grade than you deserve).

That is AldricJPN. I did some research and a box will usually have 16 Monster ball, 4 RR, 3 AR, 1 Master Ball, 1 SR. 6BOX will have 1 SAR 10BOX will have 1 UR That is the exact numbers.

@@PeteDorrTCGI think your box was in the 1 SAR per 6 box odds and it happened that the box already had a SR. I don't know if it would be considered an error or lucky haha. I don't know if the 1 per six box would replace the SR or if it adds up to it....

Love seeing pack openings. I can still smell these cards... lol. Recently went home to visit my parents and went through my Star Wars CCG collection. I think my best random pack pull was when I bought a few packs of Dagaboh at a mall and snagged an Executor - those were black border days, over 25+ years ago. Anyway, nice pack pulls and nice video! And dude WTF? You pulled Red 5, R2, Chewbacca, the best DS droid from a New Hope all in the same opening? Did you repack these or something?

I know I was so lucky in this opening. I opened some packs from this same batch months ago and didn’t hit anything good. My guess is maybe they all came from the same booster box. All packs came loose from the same seller from ebay. I wish there were more people opening packs on video always fun to watch.

I’ve recently placed one more order and once the seller ships it I will link everyone to their store. I don’t want them finding out that I unbox their mystery boxes yet before they ship this last box for the sake of fairness and transparency so they don’t pack my box better than others.

In your experience, what are the odds of pulling an R1 vs R2 for the sets that distinguish between the two? Like maybe 1 in 3 or 5 packs is R1?

I played and collected these when they came out on the 90s so it’s really weird to see them being graded and stuff now. My town actually had weekly meets to play the game when it was new.

The community is still relatively small when it comes to grading, but it’s a really awesome group of people. Check them out on the facebook group “Star Wars CCG Graded” and the channel @skunkpunx68 on KZbin does an excellent monthly recap with members of the community on grading progress with fun competitions and everything.
