Dark forces was also published for PS1 back in the day. When it comes to recommended boomer shooters, Ion Fury is modern take on good old Build engine games, Duke Nukem 3d.

Ion Fury was not on my radar, thanks for the recommendation! Nightdive has brought a number of these to console so I am planning on having a lot of fun exploring this subgenre a bit more.

There are so many cool star wars games on early Windows. I like tie fighter best

True!! I have some great memories playing them as a kid. The Jedi Knight Collection bundle is also on my shelf and I intend to play it sooner than later:)
