What I can say about the virus without spoilers is the source of it is centuries old Sith Alchemy but it’s been twisted by the empire into a bioweapon. This is why the virus appears self-aware and feeds on fear in those it infects. I love how the book goes into descriptions about this. Great job as usual!

When I was growing up I’d play with LEGOS in a fan fiction universe that was a fantastic blend of Halo, Star Wars, Star Trek, and mass effect. Even today I’m proud of the way I blended these things together. This book definitely reminds me of it in a lot of ways. Yay for nostalgia!

I think the most interesting part is the silence and cold of space adds to the horror. It makes you think these people are alone or so they believed. It's the fact that no one thought to take precautions before entering an unknown area is major red flag for danger.
@FulcrumEntertainment2 жыл бұрын
I'm a big fan of horror stories in space for that same reason. It provides a good way to isolate the characters and make the danger they're in all the more intense

What a video. The only thing that I could ask for is for it to not end. You're work is very captivating. The way you can do multiple voices without you sounding 'bad' is just amazing. I love your Sartorius and Han voice the most, and the 21B droid. And I must say again, and I promise to not bring it up again, We *NEED* Red Harvest after this. And lastly, the Way Joe Schreiber creates moments of stillness in a heated moment is just perfect. It gets the reader guessing what'll happen. I wish we got another prequel novel based of the Star Destroyer Outbreak. I think it would be interesting, seeing the scale of an outbreak that massive. But I also like the events being recounted earlier.

I recommend the Star Wars: Galaxy of Fear series. In the glorious 1990’s, SW:GoF was Star Wars’ answer to the Goosebumps series. It follows 2 kids and their uncle as they travel to a new world every book, trying to escape from the clutches of the Empire and bounty hunters, but each world has a supernatural twist. something that trig said during the cat walk scene made me wonder. how does gravity work on star destroyers? cuz if it doesn't have a central point, otherwise half of the ship would be upsidedown. preventing what trig thought up. is there a place or book that explains the technology used? also, a theory; the parasite uses the force to create the hive mind. the brothers are/were force sensitive, and what trig saw was Kale's force ghost guiding trig to an escape. PS. was eating breakfast during the skin mountain scene. had to look at the sausage for a second before eating it
