There is a lot to be said about Lucas being open, nay, enthusiastic to parody his own work. How many creators who are making a dead serious set of films are then able to say, “Hey guys! Roast the hell out of it! I’ll help.” I admire that. Obligatory Disney Swipe: But as we all know now, a much darker and wholly un ironic parody was about to descend upon the Star Wars universe. Great channel. Great work. You can look forward to many more subscribers. Myself included.

I think similar to 1994's Fantastic Four and The Star Wars Holiday Special, they should release it so fans can make the decisions for themselves. I mean, otherwise you're throwing away completed assets that are 100% finished. And it's a parody show, I think fans will understand Obi-Wan Kenobi's stand-up career is not to be taken that seriously in the context of his cameo in The Force Awakens.
