That imperial march section is what mixing tournaments should be about and is what's missing a lot these days. Hyping the crowd with this kind of musical creativity is a lost art, and not enough DJs today play to the crowd, they sacrifice musicality for technical chops.

Just checked and this is my 3rd comment on this track I've been listening to hip hop and have been in love with scratching since 1986 I am now 48 and I haven't been so in awe of anything in this genre, this is just pure quality and genius. To make the judges react and also the opponent like this just shows how amazing this truly is. I have followed him for years and he is my 3rd fav DJ, no 1 terminator X, no 2 Erik B and the man himself in 3rd. Man it just shows that hip hop brings all people together and overrides any race issues, just a passion for the different arts that hip hop brings to the table like graffiti, break dancing, battle raps, the apparel and most importantly how it puts people from all ranges of society together and also brings wealth to deprived areas and gives people a way out of poverty. Love my hip hop. I have learnt things from rappers like words I have never heard before and I have had to look them up which has broadened my vocabulary

That little look goes, "sorry, bro!" Credit to the other fella, though. He appreciated what he was seeing, all the way through, and then had the good grace to roll with it.

I haven't watched this since the first time I saw it hella years ago. I am just now learning and getting comfortable with DJing. Not know this was Skratch or who he was the first time, I am not surprised. I am glad I was able to witness your skills live at NAMM earlier this year and I am glad to be to be reacquainted with this amazing set!
