I like how after that disaster over Sullust Dave got angry and went on a rampage to hurt you as much as possible, for an ai Dave can be rather expressive

Just letting you know all three of those neutral (the white ones) planets south of Sullest and Eriadu can have manufacturing bases on them and taking all three will give you about 2000 credits a week

One Strat I use to take out shipyards, like your mission, is to build a bunch of fighters and bombers and one decoy ship. Start with the decoy ship in the pathfinder, and send it toward the enemy to bait them away, either where they’re all clustered or to an opposite corner. Next take one fighter and fly it carefully around the side of the map to the shipyard so it isn’t spotted. Once you’re as close as possible to the shipyard where you can still hyperspace in (ideally you want to go behind it) you pause the game and throw as many ships out as you can. Target shields with the bombers and fighters until enemies arrive. Distract enemy fighters with yours while the bombers target the hull. I like using either X-Wings or the cheap braha tok gunships. The second the station is destroyed GTFO. You can do this on the “hunt shipyards” missions, or if you want to cheese the game you can do it to main space stations. If you destroy a space station like that, retreat, then immediately go right back you can do the space battle without an enemy defense fleet. I personally don’t see it as super cheesy, because it RP’s as a legit rebel tactic 🤷‍♂️

Maybe you should prolong the ground battles a bit so you can build enough turrets before the Empire comes and attacks that planet again. So you don't have the same issue with like Sullust. Anything that can help, right? :P

I love this mod altough there's some limitations but that's why I hope if they add EAW2, the rebel experience will be just like this. Underdog Guerrilla warfare! And even hidden bases!

i suggest making intire fleets of x wings, y wings, u wings and a wings it is the besr option as it is cheaper than capital ships and can be produces faster

Hey man, found your channel thanks to this series and I intend to tackle the goliath 38 hour long video you posted for the Republic series. I'm commenting as I find your life philosophy interesting, but my only challenge to that is "surround yourself with like minded people" as I interpreted it, I would argue is important but variety of people who have different world views and ways of thinking I have found is crucial to my world view and outlook on life. I can be friends with people who think differently from me and its great we can challenge eachother on our way of thinking but safely and constructively. Anyway love the series so far good luck with your pharmacical work

Been thinking about this comment for a while now. After a bit of pondering, I concur. However, my situation is a little different. In college, socialization is almost a given, in which you'll be meeting and working with an assortment of different people, whom you will learn a great deal about and, by extension, learn more about life from. You should definitely surround yourself with those who can challenge your own worldview. However, I will add that, when I want to relax, it's nice to just be around people who are like me. The homies, you know. The people understand who you are and who you can see eye-to-eye. There's a balance in these sorts of things I guess. You're definitely on the money here, though. You need that challenge. Thank you for the comment. Glad you like the series.

rooster take all the white planets as they are nuertal and cant attack back they have small defence forces that are not replenished so you can do hit and runs and they wont rebuild buildings ships or troops which make those easy worlds to get to build up your economy

Thats frustrating that they could still land on sollust even tho you controlled the skies. I guess thats just how the game mechanics work, but this whole time i thought that was only possible with stealth troops

its a transport, it lets you move infantry quickly around the battlefield. it wont have good guns or armor

Oh I wouldn’t say that’s *the greatest* Defense, the actual greatest would be clutching a victory after an intense 20 minute hit and run crazy micro game and winning with 1 squadron single X-wing squadron left…….. Yeah no those aren’t fun…….
