I love this game! Still one of my favorites too and you are definitely right, Neva Kee was the best. Anybody know of a game that is similar? I think Wipeout had kinda similar physics, but since then I haven't found anything. Back in the day I actually took the wav files from the game and made them into a Windows Sound Profile, it was really badass.

I remember this game o.o I played till I had every track beaten on first and used the junkyard for upgrades. At the end the pod wont degrade anymore for some odd reason. So I downgraded then upgraded with new parts so I had every part in 100% condition.

Its epic game, Me and my brother completed all racers and got all the character but bazzle Bananta. They should really remake this it was a instant classic, Racers revenge can't even compete.

Well they've re-released old games from mario and sonic on consoles like the Wii and Xbox that can be bought off there, its very convinent plus it brings in old and new players, would be better than trying to get an old console when you could buy it and download it onto the console quickly

absolutely agree :) despite being a relatively old game, it still kicks ass! the sound effects and the whole gameplay system is perfect, only better graphics could improve the experience! :D

Abyss was the hardest to win, The Gauntlet was the hardest to just stay alive in, Centrum was the hardest to even figure out where to go, Andobi Mountain Run had an amazing huge jump.

I hear ya. I finally beat it last year though. The trick is to... well, you MUST stay on the top level of the catwalk all the way to the end and you get a massive shortcut, the AIs never take it. The only way I could manage this was to drive real slowly.

I just bought it on amazon and since the game is 16-bit it isn't compatible with 64-bit computers, it's too bad i loved this game so much

I Know exactly what is the problem on the PC version on new systems, the problem is, I can't find any solution yet, the issue is the Depth buffer, the only way you can play this on new systems is in Linux (real, not in a VM because it does not have 3D support yet in that way), using WINE, and creating a virtual-desktop, for reference I do this on an HD4870 using Ubuntu, this kind of depth buffer emulation can't be done yet on windows 7, because the program uses a very old DirectX.

@SasNolan it's not a cheat. Unlock Neva Kee and buy and upgrade the racer as much as you possibly can. My best lap on the mon gazza track was 45 secs.
