Well boys, we’ll be seeing these guys again on Disney+ in April.

Yeah! I just looked at them and came back to this channel I created to compare. Unfortunately, the quality is only slightly improved on Disney+, because they didn’t rescan the animation cels, and the audio isn’t remastered, either. At least now we have a complete set at the best VHS quality-whereas before, a few episodes were available only as atrocious off-air home recordings with station logos blurred out. Fan editors will be able to capture the Disney+ release and upscale them with Avisynth or Topaz Video Enhance AI, maybe work on the audio, and increase the framerate with DAIN, but a true high-definition set would necessitate that Disney pay for a painstaking and expensive reassembly and rescan of all the original cels. The live-action _Ewoks_ duology, conversely, looks _incredible_ in true high definition, because Disney actually rescanned the original negatives!!!

This is by far the strangest Star Wars project to ever grace the screen. Its so far removed from the rest of the franchise, to the point that it could effortlessly be reworked into an unrelated cartoon by removing all mentions of Ewoks and Endor. I wonder if Season 2 continues in this direction, or decides to involve the wider Star Wars galaxy in some form.

Yep. This was her fifth role overall (she previously appeared on Mr. Dressup, Follow that Bird, The Edison Twins, and the Pippi Longstocking ABC special). Court, of course, later became famous as a presenter on Big Comfy Couch.
