Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Datapad Trading Hack to complete your Datapad

Ok so you've visited Star Wars Galaxy's Edge and you downloaded the Play Disney app and used it around Batuu. But maybe you couldn't scan all the items, well I found a trading hack that will let you easily complete your datapad inventory as long as you can find someone willing to tell you the code. The codes from Disney World can be swapped with Disneyland as they are almost the same code, the difference is the last digit needs to be changed. The codes don't last forever and will change after a little while, but if you can partner with someone, then you can complete your datapad from home.

Thanks for this informative vid! One thing I was missing in the vid and just wanted to confirm if anyone knows: So let's say I have a part friend B needs. So he trades a duplicate item he doesnt need, I trade the item he needs to get the code. He puts in the code... says I put in his code (which I didnt). His duplicate item is deleted, he gets a copy of the item he needs... and I dont lose my item right (since its not really a trade and just happening on his side)? The part I wanted to confirm is that a) I dont lose my piece and b) the code will change and I can do it again when it changes with someone else?

Dan-O, Can the datapad app be used on tablets and if so is there just 1 brand of tablet that it works with or all tablets.

The play Disney app works on android and iOS. So if your tablet has either of those operating systems you are good to go. My son used an iPad to play. We just downloaded the app first and then used in Park WiFi to sign in to his account. Then the Datapad just uses location information and local Bluetooth signals to play the games.

Killian Dato certain “jobs” within the app require you to spend credits to obtain a specific item from a character. But soo far that’s the only real use. As far as the trading and bartering, that was supposed to be with Dok-Ondar specifically, there haven’t been any signs of that happening at all.

You need someone who can open the app right now and just tell you the codes. And you have to trade an item that you have a duplicate of. If you are working with someone on a different coast, then the last character must be changed. But it’s just an easy way to trade when you aren’t at the parks, but the other person has to have items and codes for items that you don’t already have. And you have to work fast because the codes change over time.
