Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge: What is Rey Looking At?

Peter and Kitra traveled off world to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at The Disneyland Resort to teach you Batuu's secret lingo. While you are on vacation visiting Black Spire Outpost you might notice the locals of Batuu saying phrases you are not familiar with, but have no worries because in today's video we go over some of the most commonly used vocabulary used in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. With a little bit of practice you'll be able to speak Batuuese in no time!
* BRIGHT SUNS: a greeting said in the morning meaning hello, good day
* RISING MOONS: a hello greeting said in the afternoon or evening
* TIL THE SPIRE: farewell, have a good day
(Black Spire Outpost is known for it's spires, mainly the big black spire in the center of town)
* DATA PAD: cell phone, also a fun game on the Disney Play app
* REFRESHERS: restrooms
* CREDITS: money
* CARGO SLIP: receipt
* CREDENTIALS: Disneyland / Walt Disney World Annual Pass used for discounts
* ON PLANET / OFF WORLD: on planet means being in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, off world means being back in the rest of the theme park
* HYDRATOR: drinking fountains
* PHOTO / IMAGE SCAN: getting your photo taken
* YOUNGLINGS: children
* IGNITE THE SPARK, LIGHT THE FIRE: a Resistance chant supporting the Resistance
As you know, Peter has been searching for the elusive Black Kyber Crystal for several months (check out the beginning of the search here: • Finding a BLACK KYBER ... ) and in today's video he finally found it! We were both shocked that after 21 attempts he finally now has Black Cyber Crystal and now we are wondering what to do next.....

I am finally going to Batuu tomorrow for the first time! I literally watch every one of your videos pertaining to Galaxy's Edge and I don't know why but I teared up watching this video due to how excited I am to get to go experience this. I have been a Star Wars fan my enitre life and am currently in college in Orlando and it is just incredible to see how immersive they made this experience. Peter, I swear that as you were about to open the kyber crystal I said aloud, "This is it!" I've never done that before either. Obviously, my exclamation had nothing at all to do with your discovery, but I just felt that disturbance in the force. Congratulations! By the way, I don't think you've yet stacked a pyramidal (red) tesseract atop a cubic (blue) tesseract. If you get the timing just right turning them on and stacking them, they both turn purple and you can hear other voices such as Qui-Gon Jinn's voice. It took me a couple of minutes, and I needed the help of another person to juggle everything, but I got it to work. It was too noisy to hear anything though. I first saw it on another video though, so now that I got them to turn purple, I'm sure the rest of it is real too.

I actually just went to East Batuu today! Well I’ve been there on and off again all week. Last night I built some scrap (They call the sabers Scrap at least in East Batuu) I also Rode Rise of Resistance after only one failed attempt the other day because I didn’t make into the park in time. We were in Hollywood Studios 3 weeks ago and had such a good time at Galaxy's Edge. I was disappointed that at that time the cast members were not keeping character as much as I thought they would. Then I went to a photographer just standing there and asked for a scan. We got our scan and a man with a small family came up to him while we were leaving and asked for a picture to be taken and the cast member stated, "what is a picture and stepped away." I loved it!

AW! This is so bitter sweet. You guys should totally start the challenge back up but this time buy one Red Crystal and one other item. Let a fan/kid in the park open it. If it's red, they keep the crystal but you put the other item in a prize bag. Keep going each video till someone gets a black one. The person who gets the black crystal also gets all the prizes built up from the people who pulled a red. Imagine some little kid dressed as Poe freaking out when he gets that black crystal and a month worth of Batuu loot.

Just when I think there's little else that could make me more excited to go to Batuu (when Galaxy's Edge reopens, that is) after watching Peter and Kitra build their own lightsabers, show us the droid depot and the merch and the rides, I watch this and I am geeking out like crazy all over again. See, I love immersive elements like that. On the trip I took in September of last year, I went to the Magic Kingdom for the Halloween party and ate in Be Our Guest. The cast member guiding me to the table talked about how everything was set up, and how the snow was a trade deal with Arendelle, so I sort of jokingly said "Oh! The embargos were lifted, that's great!" And without missing a beat, the cast member immediately said "Yep, it's been great for diplomacy and trade between these two kingdoms!" It's amazing how well they respond to that sort of stuff. So from there I just went with it. I asked questions to the pirates walking around Adventureland, I said "bright suns" and "rising moons" in Galaxy's Edge, I talked about the RDA on Pandora, I just let myself get immersed, and believe me when I say it's so much fun. Though I have to admit, my YoRHa android cosplay during the Halloween party probably helped a bit with letting loose and getting immersed on that first day. But once the barrier of possible embarrassment was broken by "Well, I'm already in cosplay, might as well have some fun with it" on the first day, it led to so much more immersion even though I didn't have it subsequently.
