Very cool. I'm going to try this with a human subject (of course this will be me as the subject) And then I should be able to shrink me to look like a smaller hologram . I've never done anything in After Effect before so this will be my 1st attempt. I'll upload it to my KZbin channel and share it here when I'm done.

It would have been more helpful if you had a google drive file containing the motion that you used, I personally don’t have a green screen and it would have been so much easier :) great Tuturiol though !

For some reason I don't have "alpha matte" as an option.

Nevermind. New version of After Effects makes you choose a layer first, then Alpha or Luma is an icon adjacent to the layer selection.

Question. You deleted the mask, I'm wondering why? Will keeping it, affect the outcome of the finally results? I ask this well, because I don't know, but I would think saving it with all the elements so if I wanted to reopen it again for whatever reason, everything would be there. As an old timer trying to learn new things, I learn at slower pace. But love to learn new things.
@BrandonFate3 жыл бұрын
Hey! I deleted the masks on the duplicated layers and created new ones, because I only needed one mask on those layers. I knew I would be using a new mask on those new layers. If you want to keep the masks on all the layers, you can do this and just turn the mode on the masks you don't want to see on each layer to "none". Hope this helps!
