So weird. At first, the CGI was bothering me, being dated looking. But wow! The story was so good and engaging that my mind was filling it the parts that bothered me and was brought into the show! Very well done and you got me recalling how the older shows had cheap props and costumes but the story helps your brain fill in mold the visuals far beyond the looks. That is something not done anymore in current shows and movies. Thank you so much!

A magnificent prelude to the quadrilogy that I saw just before. I discovered your channel with the first episode of Heir to the Empire and I was curious about your other works. I was not disappointed even if the quadrilogy was in 240p for a big part (i assume that was an uploading contraint. by the way, i would really enjoy a compiled by chapter version with all in 480p). I really love the easter eggs and all the references in Imperials. The remaster of some scenes of the original was great and fidel. I'm going to watch pitstop. I'm sure, it will be awesome. Keep doing all those amazing project ! PS: I will certainly try chronicles of humanity. I didn't already because it wasn't a star wars project but i guess that if it is as enjoyable as your star wars work, it will be fine.

Video was much more primitive back when I made those older Star Wars fanfilms. I couldn't capture the footage in HD and when KZbin came into existance, videos could only be 10 minutes long. I'm glad we've moved beyond those technical issues now. I hope you enjoy Chronicles of Humanity too, I started working on that when I finished the quadrilogy and wanted to make something original.

HK news and Thrawn playing Galactic Battlegrounds, hell yeah! On a more serious note, I think the film is a little bit to short to really make the viewer feel with the main characters but due to this being a non profit fan film that's understandable. While things like the HK and dozen of cosplay Maras in the Bar are funny , they don't really fit in there. I don't know if you plan on making more Star Wars films in the future but I noticed that some of the models and textures look a little bit aged. You could check out some of the high quality Star Wars mods on ModDB and ask the creators if they would be willing to share their models and textures with you. A lot of people in the modding scene are very open for sharing their work with others. The film might not be perfect and but overall i enjoyed watching it. Thank you for the time and effort you put into it.

Excellent feedback, thankyou :) You are correct about the models, some of them are not as highly detailed as others. Unfortunately they were the best I could find. However, I will keep ModDB in mind for next time :) As for the cosplayers, I took photos of cosplay friends at Celebration last year, the idea being it helps make the scenes look busy without adding a lot of character models that can really make the software struggle.

The Cosplays themselfs were ok, for the Vong Mod we aim to use pictures of cosplayers aswell, it just didn't look good when there were two Mara cosplays standig beside each other. Also Mara wasn't the best choice since you made the nice scene where she gets her Tatooine mission by Sidious. Seeing her in a bar afterwards seems odd. I would have assumed that she takes on that mission immediately.

Cool video. In my book, the only good Imperials & Dark Jedi…are dead ones. In the Star Wars Universe campaign my buddy is running (& which I’m playing a young Jedi Master with a midichlorian count that’s off the charts), our campaign is set when Rey and other Jedi form up a new School; we go around the galaxies putting down Imperial Scum & Dark Sith like the disease they are. We’re in the process of completely dismantling the Black Sun crime syndicate system by system; sending the dead Syndicate crime members’ bodies back to the Syndicate itself, as a warning that they’re next, & that they literally have no chance of surviving our onslaught; nor are we going to show them any mercy.

This was extremely well done!!!! Excellent story line and even better, follow through. I believe that the Male Dark Jedi is Ezra from rebels...He abandoned the Rebel efforts after Kanaan Jerus kills Satine in the end of Rebels season 4 (my theory is she turns to the dark side)...but Ezra ends up starting his own version of a Jedi Order where it combines the light and the dark..when Kanaan Jerus finds out what he is doing, KJ tracks him down and they fight, Ezra kills KJ, because it was KJ that failed at protecting Satine..because he wouldn't allow Ezra to save Satine from the dark side. Ezra and whoever this other Female Dark Jedi are...they are the parents of "Rey" in the new Star Wars movies..notice how exactly alike there ship is to the one that leaves "Rey" on Jakku...I must give such a high review to this effort..My cousin works for Marvel and Lucas film and just finished writing and producing the new Spider-Man XD cartoon for Disney, that started a month ago...I am sending this to him and I would encourage you to continue your hard work and dedication, to Star Wars shorts like these...my best wishes...Sean Shinick

Damien, that was excellent. The visuals were stunning, sound design spot on, animations captured perfectly. VOs were generally pretty good (some better than others) and the music was OK (not perfect, but quite acceptable, considering.). Space battles were quite spectacular. Really well done overall, and left me wanting more at the end. Please tell me you intend doing a sequel! I quite enjoyed seeing things from the "bad guys" point of view. And the setting (as the Empire falls) was unique and a great selection. The 40+ minutes flew by. Three thumbs up from me!

The opening music is from the old Star Wars TIE Fighter game from the late 90's. Actually most of the music is from the TIE Fighter game.

My understanding is you only need to take the neuron's out of the sockets when you're not going to be using the suit for awhile. So if you finish your session and you know you'll be having another in the next day or so, it should be fine to leave them in.

These are great, one thing I would change is the aspect ratio to fit a standard widescreen TV, there's no reason to waste screen real estate as if you're looking through a tank slit.

Timothy Zahn wrote a short story (now Legends) where Thrawn pretends to be Jodo Kast for awhile. I forget the name of it but it was in one of the "Tales of" books. He does also use a robe in the Thrawn book to get around without being noticed.

Jedi Academy, actually. But both games probably used the same lightsaber sound files. A lot of fanfilms take their sound effects from the video games since it's a clean source for sounds that have to be right. Lightsabers and TIE Fighters just wouldn't be right without the proper sounds to accompany them :)

Thankyou! Besides iClone, I'd recommend 3DXchange and Character Creator, all from the same developer as iClone. This way you can bring in Star Wars 3d models and create the characters you want into iClone easily. All three have free trials if you want to give them a try.

In Legends, the Imperial Palace was another building, formerly the Republic presidential palace. It was in the Palace district next to the senate district and is described in several legend books appearing before Episode 1 came out and first pictured coruscant. This here is the original Legends palace first appearing in Heir to the Empire and the Secret Order from the TIE fighter games.

He is called Galak Dor now. He and Vurumai are based on roleplay characters and since both players have matured, it seemed only appropriate to give them better names. Worf was far too Star Trek.

Um I'm sorry but to me it's not that good. Just the audio makes me cringe, even though the graphics are average there is a saying that it's better to make a well thought two minute video then a low-quality 30 minute video. I felt that this was just filling time. But this is a passion project and I see the passion.

That's fair enough. iClone, the software used for this switched to a new lighting system midway through production, so I was still learning to make use of it :)

gets a D for effort got a nice touch, Thrawn is great, but the two dark Jedi are way to emo/edgy, many dialogues are just off, the “””””””romance””””””” is bad and corny, and the first third looked unfinished and weird, the stormtroopers have weird poses at the protest/riot plus some other stuff sorry for the harsh words, I don’t want to be a hater, but someone needs to play the critic, so it might as well be me You can do better than this, and you also showed improvement with Heir to the Empire cheers
