I’ll be happy if they get it sorted. Things like this happen, as long as they make it right it’s all good. It’s a big shame it’s gone down as o do play this the most at the moment

Currently waiting the PCBA to be delivered but can say that so far the experience with Arcade 1ups support have been speedy and positive. Lets wait and see how it continues

Good I hope it's just that . But if after installing the new PCB and the main screen still doesn't work then you'll need a new monitor as well. But let's hope it's just the PCB. Just remember to decase it mate please....

Don't get me wrong, I am a huge A1Up fan, got many cabs. I sold both my Starwars & Attack From Mars Pinball cabs and I am glad that I did. The D.O.D. screens started going bad on both cabs, also especially on the A.F.M. Pinball, the fan was running non stop as if everything was over heating. Honestly it's better to get the At Legends Pinball and just hook a computer up to it for whatever games you want.

Unfortunately there is only one supplier of atGames products in the UK and they do not ship to me so an ALP is out of the picture

Nightmare, I have only had my marvel for a month(payedwaytomuch) and I hope I don't have to deal with Any thing like this. But at least there sending a replacement so hopeful fix for you, fingers crossed.

Yea when you pay that much you kinda want these things to keep going. Thankfully we have a mush better Warranty period than in the states so hoping they can help out with this

I hesitate to help with this trash that this company makes. Based on it flickering and going on and off when you move it, I’d say it’s the ribbon cables that connect the pcb. I’d request they send you replacement ribbon cables if they are not accessible.

@@CHQArcade you mentioned connections on the pcb, is the ribbon cable glued? If you can access the ribbon cable connections, I’d say that would be my first guess, seems like the back light is connected but the video aspect is having issues consistently. My guess is a bad connection or a bad ribbon cable. For what it’s worth, I collect actual cabinets and repair them for my hobby.

The ribbon cable seems to just connect to the front panel for the power and volume. But yes all connections do appear to be glued in to place. I’ll remove the other PCB attached to the monitor over the weekend and have a better look in there

@@CHQArcade well the good news is if they’re sending a replacement (likely a familiar problem I bet) the replacement ribbon cable will included. I would suggest (AFTER YOU RECEIVE THE REPLACEMENT) that you heat the glue and check the connections and save the old stuff just in case.

It looks like the same exact issue I resolved finally after 6 months of going back and forth via email with their support. The support will try to just throw parts at it. Did you take a known good HDMI cable and swap it out to make sure the factory one wasnt bad? Just get the main PCB that's mounted on the back of the monitor. Your Power PCB looks fine with the same color LEDs that mine had.

Didn't try the HDMI, but I'll keep that in mind when the new PCB arrives in case there are additional issues

@@CHQArcade I have the Star Wars pinball as well. The first generation pinballs were known to have a cooling issue with the main PCB. Improper fan on the CPU. I can hear my fan when I have my Star Wars pinball on. I think it's just a matter of time before my Star Wars burns out like my Attack From Mars.

I was wondering about that last night, was mine one of the older stock. No real way of knowing when you pick it up. Gonna do a bit of a compare when the new PCB arrives and see if it is different in anyway

When you power on does the back board light up? Also does the back light of the screen come on?

yes they light up. Just the big monitor doesn’t work

If the backlight on the monitor is coming on it means it’s not getting a signal. Either a bad cable or could be the PCB. If your able to, try replacing the cable from the PCB to the monitor, if that has no effect then your issue may lie in the PCB, you would need to raise a ticket with Arcade 1Up support for them to send you a replacement part if your still in warranty

I think one of your PCB is blow out or inop... You need a replace asap...

Yea, they are sending me a replacement but might be a week or so to get here

@CHQArcade Arcade1up needs to improve the PCB! This is the only way these products are going to last more than two to five years! Warranty are garbage, and there aren't any stores or third-party vendors that have these parts on for purchase anywhere!
