I think what made Cal more interesting than Rey was that, as a Jedi, you're strong but not unbeatable. There's always someone stronger, more cunning and experienced. There are also situations you can't deal with head on, even after a story of character growth. Sometimes survival is the best "win" you can hope for. Rey never had to deal with that, from what I remember.

I definitely agree with this take. It'll be interesting to see how they deal with Cal being more experienced in the next game but make enemies challenging within the context of the story.

@@skipx The good thing is that the enemy does not even need to be more powerful to pose a danger. What if one of the boss fights is a group of mercenaries that only attack at a distance, or compliment each other fighting styles to make it difficult to take down one of them. Or an enemy that is an expert at form 3, so you need to find a way to get past the defenses.

It definitely feels like the team behind fallen order did their research and understood the core themes of Star Wars. Instead using Star Wars to tell whatever story they wanted like they did in episode 8 & 9.

@@jonathanking9954 I’m glad you liked it, i did play the game myself but the story was a bit hard ti take serous . I did enjoy being able to play a Star Wars game on a modern console & im looking forward to the sequel
