STAR WARS: Jedi Fallen Order The Movie 1080p HD
Set five years after Revenge of the Sith, one of the last surviving Jedi, Padawan Cal Kestis, has so far escaped the galaxy-wide purge of the Jedi Order started by Order 66, and is on the run from the Galactic Empire. After attempting to salvage a Venator Class Star Destroyer above a Sarlacc Pit, an accident happens in which Cal has to openly use the Force to save one of his friends from falling into the pit, which is witnessed by a nearby Imperial Probe Droid. The droid transmits the footage to the Empire causing Cal's true identity to be revealed to the imperials. The Empire dispatches the Second Sister, an inquisitor trained by Darth Vader, to hunt down the Padawan and eradicate the remaining Jedi Knights.

I mean, I wouldn't call three limbs lost and barely any imperial authority his "prime". Debatably, Vader was strongest after Empire Strikes Back, as at that point he'd gained the Emperor's respect and wasn't forced to play second fiddle to Tarkin. The only reason he didn't kill Luke at that point was because he was trying to actively turn him. Still, he's insanely awesome in this game and it's cool to see him as less of an authority and more of an outright monster.

In a sense, Malicos was right about the Jedi Order falling long before the purge, the tradition and dogma limited them and their involvement in war ultimately led them to be consumed and blinded by the dark side

The Jedi are founded on a weird paradox. Their goals: To protect the people of the world and maintain peace. Their means: laser swords and complete deattachment from emotions How do they expect you to protect the world if you're not allowed to care about it? That's exactly what caused Anakin to fall and Vader to rise. He wanted to protect Padme, but the Jedi would not allow him to care for her. Meanwhile, the Sith look at certain emotions like fear, not as some weakness to be hidden away, but to be embraced and utilized as an asset and source of power. The flaw of the Jedi is that naive think they can ask mere mortal people to abandon emotion entirely. The flaw of the Sith is that they quite willingly let themselves be controlled by certain emotions such as hatred. They both need to realize that feelings, all feelings, are energies that cannot be stopped but can be directed and controlled as long as you don't let them direct and control you first.

But with Palpatine, plotting from every angle, and Anakin giving in to his selfishness at the worse mommy. They ran out of time.

It's the old saying "You can't serve two masters." being a Jedi means working for everyone's benefit not just yourself. Those who struggle with that are free to leave or return if they wish. Empathy and emotional growth are at the heart of their Order. Anakin fell because he held to tightly to his attachments, overriding whatever love he had for the people involved, and what they wanted, he was selfish. Time and again he acted to protect Padme, Obi, Ahsoka and even R2, for himself, risking others in the attempt. When he felt conflicted or was on the cusp of realizing his error's he either didn't listen to his peers well meaning counsel, Palpatine tore down whatever humility he might have learned by validating his actions. Leading to his decent.

Really loved this story and the game. Kind of annoying that they just destroy the holocron at the end when the main goal of the whole game was to get it but its understandable.

It is something that’s left over by the format of the video showing only cutscenes. In game when Kestis finally opens the vault he gets a vision of the future of what would’ve happened if he used the holocron and reunited the force sensitive children, basically, it ends up HORRIBLY, all the children and himself are captured and turned into inquisitors. So Cal’s decision at the end is not to expose those children to that cruel fate and rather let the force decide their futures
