Star Wars: Jedi Knight Mysteries of the Sith - All Cutscenes (1998)

I remember almost vomited when I saw for the first time these pixelated game engine cutscenes since I expected vibrant FMV's with live actors just like in the Jedi Knight.

Like for God’s sake how hard would it have been to film 20 minutes of Mara basically just talking to Kyle? They could have cut the FX in favor of green screen and acting

I assumed Dromund Kaas was new "new" homeworld for the sith in SWTOR i was wrong. Started my Trip into the EU early last Year because Disney Star Wars just isn't for me anymore so I'm all original EU from this point on, not in a malicious way. Its amazing how i can jump from the Thrawn Trilogy/Duology, Force Unleashed 2 Novel, Maul Lockdown Novel, to SWTOR/Kotor , to Mysteries of the Sith, to the NJO Books (just started) and it all feels connected. Whether its from Games to Novels it seems everyone cared about using other EU writers characters and locations.

I feel like the models are a downgrade from the FMVs from DFII:JK. I love that this is set in the Dark Empire period, and tells us why Mara and Kyle were both missing for most part, during that 1 year.

The FMVs were way better. It would not have been THAT expensive to cut the FX in favor of actors and green screen like wtf is this crap

Despite looking funky, this game is important in that it fundamentally opened the way for better cutscenes in Star Wars such as the story for Battlefront 2017. Compared to the cutscenes in things like Shadows of the Empire, this is Cizten Cane.
