Simply marvellous orchestral music brilliantly directed for TV. Obviously a lot of hard work in preparing the TV script, and the results on screen are a tribute to the entire TV team involved. Well done. Very little on You Tube matches the quality of this live coverage of music for television. From an Irish TV Director who admires you work. x Bob.

to those who have commented on how bad, slow tempo, or the mistakes made: it takes a lot of blood, sweat and tears to practice to play an instrument; yet even the best of the best make mistakes. easy is it to critisize but hard it is to pick up an instrument and play perfectly like The London Philharmonic Orchestra. Kudos to these kids in this video to play one on the best movie theme songs of all time! They have dedicated time and effort and have begun their music career on a higher level

In this video just imagine that you are in Poland, in 2014,and the conductor comes out on stage wearing a black suit, used in the filming of STAR WARS, wouldn't you be in total AH, I would be blown away, and think that I am in the UNITED STATES, on the production in HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES, MY GOD, am I dreaming?or is this reality, as I would love to see the reactions on their faces, pure amazing, because here in NYC, in the theater district, tickets are not cheap, depending where you are seated, but just look at the production costs, costumes, music, stage hands, lighting, sound effects but this is a professional production, make no mistake, this is for real, and not a fancy or a dream.

이런 고전악기로 낸 음악을 듣는것 만으로 데스스타와 우주의 별들이 반짝이는 장면들을 떠오르게 한다니...

Found this just right now..... what an outstanding performance and recording work!! For me, as a slightly older person, Star Wars and its soundtrack have a very special meaning (i was at the age of 11 when episode 4 was released at the cinema). It is great to see / hear how the soundtrack of Star Wars is still impressive, especially when it is played live and with such great musicians like these ones.....thank you for this great video!

Beautiful! Really enjoyed this performance, wow. I'm wondering how 'the mission' will sound when it's played by this orchestra.

John Williams turned STAR WARS into a music concert along with the movie. That thought occurred to me the first time I saw the movie. Music scores for movie soundtracks seemed to have lost a lot until John Williams came along and revived what Max Steiner did for KING KONG, etc.

The hair!!!! The hair on the back of my neck stood up at some points in these theme. So good! Just brought back so many nostalgia. This and the Superman theme. It feels majestic and so successful and powerful. I know nothing of music. But I know I like this sound! 😊
