Star Wars Legion: 2023 A Year in Review

Just got started playing legion this year and I’m currently in the process of finalizing my main list it’s a unorthodox one a boskk ig11 and palpatene list designed mainly for area control objectives like intercept the transmissions I’ve play tested it a few times against my sister and it was great

do you have any ideas concerning shadow collective? i guess asmodee needs to release more units for this faction!

Sadly with Shadow Collective it is a Battleforce first and foremost, and with them already adapting most of the clone wars Units, I honestly can't think of much else. I would love a corp Mandalorian trooper.

I've got one thing to say - Fleet Troopers.... Who in their right mind thought it was a good idea to release Pyke Foot soldiers for 44 points, the original cost of Fleets and Fleets being 40 now the Pyke unit is still light years better than the Fleets and i don't want to take Pykes in a traditional rebel list. I want to use iconic units like Fleet Troopers but can't because they are rubbish. I mean it's not hard, it's not rocket science, one only needs to look at both their cards to see there is an issue. I'd love to run the units through an AI and see what it said about balance of the units and unit costs. I would make a guess it would find at least a 20% bias towards Empire.

What is your favorite list? Also I'm looking in to starting legion but im not sure what faction to start with. Any recommendations?

Start with who you find aesthetically epic. Enjoy them, learn them. There isn't a set list that will win every time. Just play and have fun.

I agree with Sea Triscuit, start with something you like, and have fun. Each faction plays different, my faction breakdown has a goood start, and my holiday guide shows budgets
