Very effective and a ton of fun to play. She was really helped out by the number of building on the table. It made finding a great defensive position very easy to find.

I’m not sure Vader was ever in position to use Force Choke. Vader is not allowed to use it on Commanders or Operatives and Vader never got close enough to use it on my Rebel Troopers or Commandos.

Although sabine turned out to be fine. I felt the sting of red dice blanks with palpatine. I took 3 from a z6 from rolling red blanks. Took myself to one wound with "and now you will die" then rolled a blank from a single trooper leader shot. But i did cook a squad of wookiees.

The Card Sleeves are produced by FFG and were purchased at my friendly local game store. If you check the products online it will tell you what color sleeves to get for the various size cards. They are a little more expensive than the competition but the quality is top shelf.

Great game as always, love the use of non meta units in the scouts, really dislike sniper spam hopefully CW will see a counter to this

Great game. Too bad the empire lost, but the empire player didn’t use the cohesion mechaninsm to exploit the cover, and the medical droid should have stayed in proximity to the DTs. Also why have the compel guy when you don’t use him, dlt all the way for me 😜😜. Really enjoy theese videos. Can’t wait for the next one. Are you going to go into the CW when they release it? I’ve all ready ordered an CIS army.

Thanks for the comment! I will definitely be picking up the new CW armies and playing them on the channel. Both of the factions seem really interesting to me and I am looking forward to exploring the new play styles offered by both of them. As we mentioned in the video, Szymon was a bit out of practice with Legion and while the mechanics are easy enough to quickly relearn, the nuance of the game is a bit tougher. Both cohesion and use of medical droids require a lot of practice, which Szymon does not have. If you want to see a better use of DTF-16, you can check out Episode 7 where I play a very similar list against Max. Last thing I will mention is that Szymon was in a tough position because of the Breakthrough Objective. Ideally his list would love to ball up close to each other, but my Rebels were able to spread him out pretty effectively as he had to commit forces to stop the Rebel advance on his right. There were some better plays available to Szymon, but it is a lot harder to see those options while in the midst of the game.

Sad to see you go back to the states already, as I live in the area you stayed (I know Max from our FLGS) and was hoping to maybe also get a game in, but since I only stumbled over your channel some weeks ago, was very busy with work and still lack a painted army it seems it was not meant to be :'( But I wish you a good trip back and look forward to future content on this channel! One question: I've always considered Force reflexes to be a must-buy for Vader, since he's so darn expensive and can use them every turn due to master of the force. What're your thoughts on that?

I'd say it's a must if you're running Vader without Royal Guards or Medical Droids. But if you have either of those units, or both, it isn't as crucial IMO

I have to give Max some credit here. He played a fully painted Sabine in Ep 7, but got more than a few rules wrong. I made an exception to my usual rule of only playing with painted models so I could demonstrate how the rules work in some areas.

These videos are great. I however feel that when someone destroys an entire squad, we rarely get to see you remove the minis. All of a sudden they are missing from the board, you even forget how many died. Remember us viewers can't see your entire board like you can all the time. There is no pay-off when someone rolls 9 hits and destroys an entire squad for us because we don't get to see you remove the minis. It's almost like cutting in a movie right before bodies fall to the ground when being mowed down by gunfire or similar... no payoff to see the gruesome outcome(s)... Please adjust in the future and let us see you remove the casualties. Like when Luke killed all the scout troupers in one swoop on the roof. We didn't get to see that either...

No, but if that unit is already suppressed they don't gain back their second action.

Absolutely. In this list though all three of the Special Forces slots are used up by the Deathtroopers and the two squads of Scouts, but I could certainly change out a unit of Scouts with a Sniper team.

I don't know that you can climb and trigger Relentless. Relentless triggers "after you perform a move action" and while climbing changes the position of a miniature (i.e. Vader 'moved') he didn't perform a "move action". Just like Luke wouldn't trigger Charge after being moved by No Time for Sorrows or Force Push or whatever else. I *think* Relentless needs a plain vanilla move action to trigger.

Thanks for the comment. I love these types of discussion as I always learn something new. As for this particular case, Relentless triggers after you perform a move action, just as you stated above. The first bullet under movement in the RRG states "The primary way that units move is by performing a move action. When a unit performs a move action, it performs a standard move, reverse, pivot, climb, clamber, embark, or disembark." So I read that as clamber (such as Vader does in the batrep) is a type of move action, and move actions trigger Relentless. I think the attack was legal.

She was painted very shortly after that, but yes it felt bad playing with an unpainted model. I will try hard to ensure it doesn't happen again!
