I will say I didn't see any comments about the missed triggers but I know Cody makes stuff a little more complex with Armor but I love it with him. Also, for Rex I was hoping that when they released clone commandos, that they come out with a new gear slot that allowed Rex to gain impervious, but now that’s not an option. Personally, they should give Rex another point reduction

So it’s after wounds assigned, which means I would have had to roll for another wound. So imo no, the shield comes back every round you don’t have an order on delta so use it when you can instead of popping the one time armor. Thanks! -Joe

22:00- Wait…… I have no idea how I didn’t really notice this at first and you don’t actually mention it in the description….. but how many Clone Commandos units did you have at the start of the game? And are you trying to say this is a 800pts game?!? Because I’m pretty sure you said you had 3 Commando units in the start of this video!?! WARNING: Longer comment! And all it is is me joking that he’s scared of other signal charter units (his words not mine lol) and how and why I know Cody is actually boss! And just because he doesn’t know how to use him yet, that doesn’t mean he sucks!!! But if you don’t care for either, skip this comment then!!! 56:59- So are you saying you do that with other “single miniatures”?!? I’m pretty sure that is what you just admitted to!!! I can’t speak for everyone else….. but there is literally NO single miniature unit that I fear that much of them shooting me!?! Tanks? Yes!!! The bigger badder full units?!? Yeah, sometimes! But besides you being easily scared, Cody is boss! If you use him correctly!!! But I could probably help….. at least!?! Not so much in a comment section!?! Actually, I was on a massive losing streak and I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong! I was flip flopping different lists in there, I was even resorting to trying different tactics that I’m not a fan of! Nothing was working! And after I got and painted Cody and got him on the table in the first game, I won! I couldn’t believe it! And neither could my opponent since he’s already beaten me more than I’d like to admit during that losing streak!!! And since I always overthink everything, I thought it was just a fluke!?! So I came up with a new list that was almost the same as the one I just won with the previous week but with a few add ons changed out for others that work better for my tactics! And I won again! But this time I actually won at the start of the 4th round (because my opponent knew there was nothing he could do at that point! He had very little amount of anything left and he barely held on to 1 objective! While I still had most of my forces and I had the other 2 objectives on lockdown)! I haven’t done that in over a year! But once again, I didn’t believe it! Actually I didn’t think I had something until win 4! And it’s been over a month since I’ve played! But in my last 8 games I’ve won 7 of them! And that has never happened before!!! I’m not saying I’m the greatest player ever now!?! There could be a lot of different factors to some if not most of those wins that have to do with luck for me and a bad gameplay on each one of the people I played! But I am saying when used right, Cody can be boss!!!

Dude… your comments have been a bit much and overall negative, but I will answer that.. I didn’t say he sucked…. I didn’t see he is not playable… he is better than poor Rex in most ways. But he is sadly not great… got back look at worlds, or LVO, or any other don’t tourney and you won’t see him finishing in the top republic list for a reason. Now that said I think I would put him at a “B” tier for the republic. But with sooo much strong range 4+ units in the game he can go down easily at times. Thanks for watching. -Joe

Cody is good to combo with an ISP comms relay. But he’s only good for chip damage or fire supports. He can absolutely delete armor if you do an RPS FS with him. But yeah, he’s alright.

The new units got me excited. Good to see the dice finally take pity on Don's generally terrible dice luck and give one back to him. The Range Trooper DLT is Impact 2, Range 1-5, not Impact 1, Range 1-4 like the Storm one btw. I honestly think its really solid, outranging armor units, its like the droid and clone rockets but without the exhaust or cumbersome and an extra range. I think it will be generally great into Darks as they have even shorter range than the tanks do, effectively being like mobile (albeit more expensive) FD turrets. As a big Rex fan, and having run him a ton, even at a tourney recently, I would agree, he feels really weak, only really having scouting party and his 1 pip going for him. As for Cody, I think he is extremely strong, but he really, really needs fire support, I love his 1 pip, his 2 pip is ok and his 3 is pretty meh imo. The 1 pip isn't entirely useless into darks, you can still just use the 4 observes as rerolls, effectively giving Cody 3 aims against them for free that round. I think if you are running Cody you should always have either a Clone Commander or a vehicle with a comms relay to have fire support options every round, I prefer an AT-RT with relay for his direct over a Saber tank with LTA tbh.

I’m interested to see how effective the armour card is on Commandos. From what I’ve seen and heard, they tend to die pretty easy to chip damage. I think 1 health on Delta is going to hinder them as well.
