Very interesting to see the Geonosians in action. I think they are the best corps unit in the game right now. Their action economy is awesome! Good for CIS-players. But I hope AMG will show a little love to older corps units like rebel soldiers with next points update and errata. (And definitly don‘t play Limited Visibility against them.)

Falling on the sword was great honestly. Poggle and SunFac's command cards, override, and compel seemed worth the cost of bringing them.

Totally agree when card play lines up with good dice, you definitely have a recipe for success.

It made no impact that I saw but keep in mind speeders do not get cover from their base. they are floating hockey pucks so the single bike would not have cover from poggle when it was on top of that box. referring to the shot at around 57 minutes

Thanks for the reminder. Cover rules can get screwy and we all need to remember where we are drawing line of sight and how cover is impacted.

Idk if it was intentional but the geonosians only jump 3, they move 2 so I belies it wouldn’t effected the outcome but the geos where moving too far

Jump 3 on the Geos allow them to make a free jump each activation. Allowing them to make a free move.

It came down to personal choice on Richard's part. He didn't think he would get much out of it and preferred to keep Poggle farther back when possible. That might change going forward with more testing.

The Geonosian Warrior heavy weapon Force Pike - when moving through a unit you may preform a over run. This is not an attack action. After completing his move Richard was in melee and then preformed a melee attack action. On the upgrade card it states When this unit performs an attack action, you may flip this card before the Declare Defender step. After the over run you can flip the Force Pike to attack As it currently is ruled by AMG the Force Pike upgrade allows for two opportunities to kill your opponents minis.
