I am happy to see that you were able to build your Grievous differently from the one we saw in the live. This give me hope for my 3 Grievous, they will be all differents :)

Great video. Guys. I really liked the pop-ups of the models to help understand what we are seeing. Keep up the great work!

Can I/should I use plastic glue (that melts the plastic together to form a bond) rather than super glue?
@klinktastic5 жыл бұрын
I prefer plastic glue. A good plastic glue does adhere pretty quickly, but you can wiggle a little to get the set just right.
@Nubloot5 жыл бұрын
I personally prefer the plastic glue as it has a stronger bond, just make sure you keep it at small quantities or you’ll end up melting detail.

Yes, don't use superglue like this guy. Never seen any serious miniature hobbyist use superglue on minis. Get either some GW plastic glue or Tamiya plastic model glue. 100x better than brittle superglue.
@matthewrobinson99424 жыл бұрын
if you can get Tamiya extra thin cement its cheap and works super well
@Glic20004 жыл бұрын
YES. Don't use super glue on styrene plastic, it makes brittle bonds that are easier to break.

No colour palette? Wouldnt mind seeing a palette for paints.. clones are pretty simple, but the droids need one.

I want to try this but the miniatures are a little intimidating
@MrImOriginal4 жыл бұрын
You absolutely should try it, there's a lot to consider but it isn't as intimidating as it looks. Plus this game is a great intro to wargaming if you wanted to also getting into warhammer, 40k, or other games like that. With a starter like this all you really need is precision side cutters (hobby cutters), a hobby knife, and super glue. This game is especially great for beginners in that you don't get "Options" for building your models so it's very straightforward and takes away the potential for any second guessing. (You get some options but they're very limited. For example in 40k, space marines get different guns and crap tons of tiny details like ammo pouches and grenades that can be optionally attached. and some of these options affect how they play) The cutters are to remove the droid parts from the sprew, the knife is to clean up mold lines, and the glue is to put them all together, all three of these are required for this and pretty much every other game of this type. If you wanted to paint them, that's a pretty big deal in and of itself but there are hundreds of tutorials on youtube that can guide you through every step of painting (There is a lot that goes into itbut it can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be). KZbinrs I can point you to would be "Miniac" and "TableTop Minions" these guys are more associated with Games workshop stuff (as opposed to star wars legion) but it's all transferable. Miniac has plenty of painting tutorials while tabletop covers the hobby of building and painting miniatures as well as playing in this category of games. And "TableTop Minions" has made videos on this game before. The only really intimidating elements to this hobby are the painting and the cost as it can get very expensive and very time consuming.

That looks slightly intimidating

Pls don't use super glue to assemble miniatures. Use Plastic glue specially made for this. It melts the two pieces together and bonds them. Superglue is for adding stuff to your bases and the like, not for miniature assembly.
@unclejoe33384 жыл бұрын
It doesn’t work
@Nothing-1w34 жыл бұрын
Seriously why he uses super glue it when I tried to use it it didn't even bond for long
@flip-antonio84253 жыл бұрын
So use plastic glue to assemble the figures. But use super glue to attach the miniatures too th base
@alcovitch3 жыл бұрын
@@flip-antonio8425 It depends. if you're gluing the mini directly to the plastic base, use plastic glue, if you got rocks and other basing material, super glue.
