You've been doing this for so long and so many videos, but you still take the time to say WHY you're doing a step. "I'm doing this as prep for later OSL", or, "this will increase the contrast between..." I appreciate it. Its really helpful for new and intermediate painters that aren't really seeing the logic behind the steps.

You guys have some wild comments. Allow me to clarify. Not everyone watched from the beginning? Just click start. At the beginning of the video. Don't skip to the end. Eon explains literally everything. He doesn't teach you how to paint. He teaches you how to apply your painting skills to miniatures... How is this not understood? If you don't know how to paint, then be patient and watch ALL of his videos. Otherwise, go learn how to paint, lol. It's easy, just takes time.

Yeah! I always felt like new day starts about 6AM, so if I don't sleep, 2AM or 3AM is still Sunday. But if I sleep, the new day starts at midnight (if I wake up at 2AM it is Monday already). This system works for me since the 90's.

Can't wait to see what he does with the droids, especially because that's what I'm currently painting myself. Using Speed paints and contrast paints makes painting the droids very fast I'm less than 10 hours in and I already have most of my trooper models done.

This became my favourite mini painting channel in a very short amount of time. Your enthusiasm is just really inspiring to me and makes me paint a lot more. Question: I really like the ratling grime + silver drybrush steps for weapons. But often I have the problem that drybrushing silver results in little silver flakes spreading on the mini that are a pain to get rid off. Somebody any idea what I am doing wrong? Already tried more or less water but I can't manage to consistently avoid it.

For eye lenses I put a little water in the lense then just touch the black to the lense and let the paint flow into the water

I thought Kessel was an imperial prison Asteroid, using convicts to do mining in the spice mines. Kessel also has energy spiders (source: Empire at War) Looks really cool though!

the blue on a shore trooper signifies rank. no blue are the lowest rank which is sergeant. being specialty troopers they are higher ranked even at the lowest point. blue on the chest is the middle rank. i cant remember it exactly but i think its something like lieutenant. then an all blue arm is the captain.

I'm pretty sure the Dark Troopers are phase 2. Phase 1 tend to be designed for melee, and Phase 3 are the larger powered armor ones.

Wow. I actually just purchased the core set for a really great price and I also have well over a hundred plus Star Wars Legion miniature STL’s to 3D print as well. You can also get the cards online. I’m definitely going to print some of those Imperial Guard. Always been my favourite. I’m also going to print some vehicles and terrain. My favourite is the AT-AT and Snowspeeders so I may make a Hoth inspired battlemat to go with it as well.

Don't worry, dry brushing is still the right term. The brush is almost dry (of paint) rather than the paint being almost dry (of moisture)
