I have to disagree with what you're saying about prize support. I personally was delighted with how much stuff i got, it wouldn't have cost them much to print cards but it gives you a feel good for turning up and feel like you get value for money. I guess there could have been more for the winners, especially for whom many already had the cards from worlds. Plus, it's encouragement for other players to attend the GT's if you can come back and say 'look at all the cool swag i got!'. I totally get that its quite different for the super competitive players who regularly get large prizes from winning tournaments, but for casual players a few promo cards are really quite nice.

I have played exactly one game against 2 Clone Commandos - I killed them both with Op-Vader, only to be killed by Yoda shortly afterwards . . . multiple Pierce in melee is good against them, but it's costly to get in there.

Their production cost on this is probably under 100 bucks.... and they are reusing previous prizes. It's pretty lackluster.

How long until TTA and FifthTrooper builders just auto-add x3 CC and Padme to every GAR list people build? One or two more "too good to leave out" units for GAR and they won't need to bother with list building at all.

It doesn’t surprise me one bit that the prizes are crappy. Legion has continued to degrade since AMG took over. These Scoundrels recently reviewed what $40 used to buy (Wookies & BX droids) vs what it buys now (Clone Commandos). 4 minis for $40! Ludicrous! That’s why I’ve 3D printed my units for the past year and a half AMG sucks and they don’t deserve our money. Give the game back to FFG!
